TextCrafter 2 ~ Craft & Share

Give us users a basic file organizer with a folder or category (and subcategory) structure, a share sheet to open in other apps and perform basic actions, and an improved text editor. I do like simply moving the cursor with my finger, however. Easy and precise with the magnifier. Tagging notes would be much better than five colors to choose from. One can associate a category/folder name with each color, but then one has only five categories or folders to put the note in. Filtering this way is not very effective. Really like the classic panel style otherwise, the snippet feature (though placeholders would be nice), the insertion of location and contact info. But what about date/time insertion? What would really help, I think, is the ability to custom order the notes within a category/folder (drag and drop) as well as move the notes freely folder to folder. Maybe even a hierarchical structure. If you added the ability to split notes, and especially to select, order and then merge several together, I’d be hooked. Or maybe a drag and drop to prepend or append a note to another one in the editing panel. I do see potential here.

Great App for Tweeps

I keep this open and use it for composing and editing when I need to refer to several apps to research and write anything. It's particularly helpful with emails when I need to pull quotes or data from several threads or docs.

I like this application. However a lot need to be done to make it useful. For instance one cannot highlight nor bolden a text. How do you write the title. If modifications are added , I think this will be one of the best notepad.

I like this app a lot. But the tags are way too limited and obscure to be useful. It would be nice if it supported Markdown so that bold print, italics, and the like would be supported.

Works great. Love the features. Wish I could create titles and some minimal formatting (B I U). Beyond that, love it.

I've had Text Crafter for a couple years now on my iPhone and now on my iPad. It's very easy to use. Has just enough bells and whistles to be satisfying without being confusing. I use it at work everyday. It's voice recognition is great so I can be dictating notes and memos while busy with my hands and then forward to the proper recipient. I also use that feature to keep notes on a project as I am prototyping it and now don't spend any of my assistants time used in data entry to include in the R&D folder. I simply email the file to her and it's taken care of...instantly. It's a really huge time ($) saver!

I liked the first TextCrafter but it's not available any more at AppStore. Anyway, I use what I have. Daily. Several times a day. What I like the most about this app? The search. And ability to archive really easily. What is so so about it? The tags don't have any sense to me. I'd like to pick up my own pictograms to tag my notes instead of 'star', 'moon', 'flag' and 'fire' or to have bigger choice. Anyway... Thanks for your app, guys. It makes my life much easier. I mean, really, thank you!
