The Connecticut Public App

It’s clunky and takes a while to load. When I click listen, I just want to listen to a live stream. I don’t want to have a choice of all the other shows that are available. At that point, I get frustrated and move on. I have found myself listening to Connecticut Public Radio and public radio in general far less since the institution of this app. Now I just listen in my car and I’m not not in my car all that much.

This app is user friendly and has been glitch-free. Now I don’t have to sit in my car to finish listening! I appreciate this app as an option.

Keeps crashing

Great to Stream Our local public radio.

I love CT public radio and am an avid listener. I love to listen during my commute. I recently switched to using the app while driving so I can also use gps on my phone at the same time. I frequently have difficulty starting the broadcast using the app. It will freeze, hang and take multiple attempts with force closing to get it started. It will also just quit at times. All this leaves me messing around with my phone far more than I should be while driving.

This app gets better all the time. A much needed addition is Chromecast support so we can listen via Google Home speakers and devices. I hope you can add this in an update very soon! I would give this app 5 stars if it had this feature.

Easy to use app; great quality programming.

I quite often have a lot of problems with the radio transmission, but the app is always clear...I need my Morning Edition!

I love this app! It has a nice intuitive set up and has all the great CPTV content!
