Why in gods name do I have to keep updating my password ?

I personally don’t like the new format to read the paper. Also the local content for a city and region this size is extremely poor. Thank god sport is returning soon so we may get a few more pages

New app often times out with download incomplete. Company recommended deleting, reinstalling and logging in again. This did not work. The update is terrible.

Wonderful to be able to read it online especially when you are unwell

The scrolling isn’t quite as janky as the web version with all the ads loading in, but it’s still far from smooth. The splash screen logo that appears every time I open or switch to the app is unecessary and very annoying. Swiping back from an article will show one or sometimes two different articles before getting back to the main list. Not sure if this is intentional to increase page reads or if it’s a bug?

My 86 year old mother has been reading the Ballarat Courier for several years now online and they have done an update which is really difficult to navigate. The format has changed which has a smaller typeface now which mother can’t read due to her vision loss. She also has arthritis which means she is unable to use her fingers to zoom in closer as she has to use a stylus. Also the paper used to save what page you were up to automatically and it no longer does this. She is very frustrated as she has been able to read the paper independently before and these changes have made it so she can no longer do this. If the format stays like this she will no longer be able to use the subscribe to your paper. Please change it back the way it was as I can see no benefit to the new changes for anyone, thank you.

Very good app but I am becoming somewhat annoyed with the ever increasing number of advertisements that are being included. Not only are they annoying but also now obtrusive particularly on my mobile phone. In addition surely when one receives an advise of a particular article via email it is not possible to view the whole article without having to go through the task of password etc , for paying subscribers whose details are already within your data base?

I have a better experience using The Courier’s website in Safari than this app. Simple things like swipe from the left to go back should be added. The keyboard in the puzzles tab looks like it’s from 2008.
