This is a poor app, l click on it and all it does is to take me to the shop. Whatever I select I can’t get away from it. I am paying monthly so don’t think I will continue with the subscription.
Downloaded the new app in April 2023. Paid for a subscription. Every time I access the app, I have to sign in again. Content is good (I want to read it!); app is clunky.
Signed up to read the Ashes coverage, esp George Dobell - excellent, as expected Not so happy with the app, however. Links from twitter always go back to thecricketer.com, not to the content within the app. Every time I open the app and try to access premium content, it checks if I have access rights (even though the app knows I am registered & logged in, as it never asks for login). Links within stories in the app go back to thecricketer.com, not to content within the app. (Submitted this review to the (old) magazine app in error.)
Really like the content, but the overall design and usability of the app is not great when compared to competitors. Feels 10 years old in design, but hopefully will be improved.
