Landscape
I have been using daily grace for years now and I recently got an iPad. The app doesn’t rotate to landscape mode and that makes it hard to use my keyboard when typing answers. Could there be an update to fix this?

Zoom levels, text selection, and speaking are disabled in this app. Why? This is intentional for some strange reason they have it locked down.
Love the app itself. Easy to navigate and Bible studies are well laid out. Excellent content. That part is 5 stars. Loss of stars relates to the iPadOS app itself (not the content): it doesn’t open and is therefore unusable. On my iPad (iPadOS 18.2), the app will not open past the startup screen. Over the course of 2 weeks, I’ve tried restarting and reinstalling the app as well as restarting the iPad multiple times. There’s a quick <1 second picture with markers and then just a blank white screen after that. App works perfectly fine on my phone (iOS 18.2)… that gets 5 stars as well. Guessing the developer needs to put out an iPadOS app update? Looks like the last update (version 1.6.0) 7 months ago… around May 2024. Hopefully they’ll make an update soon as I’d like to do more studies on my iPad.
As others have said two years ago, the font is too small and too light. Since there is no refund for a digital purchase the company has no incentive to improve the readability of their app. Can’t use the study and it’s a disappointment.
I’ve used this on my phone for well over a year now, and I throughly enjoy its content. I just downloaded it to use on my iPad and I’m disappointed, it won’t let me rotate to landscape and it also won’t let me search the verses I can look up the books but that is it. Please fix this, I love this and recommend to everyone.
I truly enjoy the app and the content within. It’s fantastic to have Bible studies at our finger tips. However, I do wish the app was not only vertical but horizontal too. It doesn’t flip on my iPad or iPhone.
Please update, not working well on new iPhone 16 Pro
I love the whole concept of this app. I do however wish that I had the ability to make the font larger for my aging eyes. I find it very difficult to see the tiny, light colored font they have chosen. After 2 days of trying to read it I tried every trick I know to enlarge text on my iPad, nothing crosses over to the app. Maybe the developers can change that. Luckily I ordered the hard copy of the study, hopefully that font is better.
Good prices and cute packaging. These make great gifts for friends and family.
I tried the app because I like their website, but it needs a lot of work, unfortunately. I think it'll be great after that though. It's supposed to have a daily verse, but since I've had it, it's the same verse every day. It says you have the option to send devotionals to friends, even has the icon to do it. But it doesn't work, nor does trying to copy and paste the link. I tried to reach out on the "chat" part for help, but never got any help. It's also hard to find a specific devotional you want to read. You have to through all the entire options to look. Which I didn't. It seems like it promises a lot more than it offers. I'd say the only benefit is if you want to read the devotional, but don't care which one. I will be deleting it, unfortunately
