Where is the in-app purchase section?

Honestly, one of the worst news applications, constantly has bugs. Then when it comes to Contant 80%, unfortunately of the articles are re-posts from Washington Post and associated press so you’re not paying for local news, you’re paying for a little bit of local news and them, paying other journalists and news outlets for their coverage, which defeats calling yourself a local newspaper
I’ve been a subscriber to the DMN since 1985. The app is horrible. Every day I have to delete and reload. It never updates to the new edition. Swiping does not work.
When I open the newspaper portion, the app remains in that mode. I need to totally reboot my iPad to get to other sections of the app. I’m using the newest iPad and latest version of iOS. I have communicated the problem to DMN and talked to their IT department, but the problem persists. Hence the 1 star rating.
***downloaded the newest version and ads seem to be gone. Will update if they come back*** I pay a lot for this subscription. Why are there suddenly pop up ads at the bottom of the screen. There’s already ads on the paper pages this is a color Google ad banner. Get rid of it I don’t pay a fortune every month to see more ads!! Every time I turn the page a new ad pops up. Plus the bottom inch of my screen is not used for the articles, it’s all ads! Unreadable!!
This new update makes the app unusable. I don’t understand the obsession of putting their print version on mobile. It doesn’t work. And on the Dallas News tab, hope you only want to read one article because there’s no back button.
The new app is practically impossible to easily use on an iPhone. It’s bad enough for me to consider giving up my subscription.
Since a recent update, the main screen on this app is literally just a browser window that leads to the paper’s website but adds ANOTHER ad banner on top of it. Or, you can download a PDF of the full newspaper and scroll around the whole thing to try to follow the columns. The search function literally says to go to the website for full search capabilities. Not sure what the point of this app is.
They need to allow family sharing for this app. I can give the paper version to anyone, but I can’t share this with just my family? Big miss.
If you ever want to cancel - good luck. You are required to call their customer service line. Their runaround is worse than the old-school cable company. Their account info page is horrible. No info on renewal date, and no real info. Digital only subscription is $225/yr. I care about high quality local reporting, but the Dallas Morning News is not the NYT.
