The Gospel Coalition

I have been listening to the Gospelbound podcast for a few years now, and I really value the content. I use the articles to help me sort through difficult or sometimes simple theological questions I need answers for, and I usually come away with more clarity and understanding on the topics. I want TGC to grow in its reach and influence for the sake of the Gospel.

It’s become really hit or miss (and usually miss), depending on writer. The opinions are often identical to those of secular media sources, in which case, I could just go to them instead of TGC.

The app is well designed and nice if you’re looking for current things. It does have one glaring problem. No search feature. Sure there is one listed but it’s only for “media” which just means any podcast or sermon. There’s no way to search previous articles or blog posts. Not user friendly. I’m not sure if that is something that can be fixed in future updates but it would be a nice feature.

I overall like the update that came around several months ago. I use the app mostly to read the articles, and it would be a very nice addition to be able to swipe back to the article page instead of having to go back to the home screen every time after reading an article.

TGC has gone the way of the woke Marxist. Time to jettison the TGC APP.

I’ve been blessed by gospel-centered content for a great while. If you regularly get TGC content this app is a must!! Wonderful and simple to use!

There used to be an option to share the article on iOS operating systems via text. Now with the new update the only options are Facebook, Twitter, and email.

I deleted the app because the sermons/podcasts weren’t playing. Sooo frustrating. It used to work every night. I don’t know what happened. I’ll download again and see if it’s improved.

As many other reviews have mentioned, the content is wonderful however please make it an app that is more enjoyable to use! Allow the full title of the article to be visible from the home screen instead of just the first few words so that we can get a quick glimpse of the content instead of having to click into each article. Also when reading an article, the green toolbar at the top is either too sensitive or just not working correctly because it constantly slides down then disappears when scrolling. This becomes very distracting when trying to read. Would be great if the toolbar was only visible if you’re at the very top of an article. Keep up the great content!

I agree with the reviewer who suggests displaying full titles on the list of articles. It would be so much more helpful to know the full title of each article before you go to the article. There appears to be plenty of room in the title boxes for this. Thanks.
