The Great Courses Plus

I have to search in browser and add to watchlist because search in app doesn’t work.

The material is very dated and they make it impossible to end the payment plan once you’ve registered. I would not even recommend this to my worst enemy. Masterclass is much better and the productions are up to date and more professional, worth the money.

The content in the great courses is superb, but the app is a bit slow and annoying. Videos take a long time to load. You also have to use the search tool to search for the entire series to get back to the list of lectures if you want to skip one. I have found it easier to download the lectures I want to watch and then watch that way.

The content is amazing, but the app is very slow and needs some serious attention for improvements.

Been a fan of the website for a long time, and have subscribed off and on for a while, enjoying the content but not the template. At last the app is here, and chromecast is even included! The app is probably not worth 5 stars itself, but the content is so so good, I have to recommend a subscribtion to everyone.

They finally made the software that allows us to download, play, speed play and even hear the lessons as audio!!!! I am very happy with it. I understand it is in its first version, so I I am willing to cope the slow loading time. I wish that it has a better and clever way to manage the courses that you are following and perhaps have a schedule or at least a history that discriminates by course. Right now that interface needs serious improvement. But the content is really great. And now it is more convenient than never.

But the app continues to let me know, every minute or so, that it is using cellular data. I don’t care. Just use it.
