The Islay App

Got this whilst waiting in the CalMac office, tried it in 4G, BT free Wi-Fi and a secure BT hub with allow once and allow location at all times same result opens main screen then throws me out within 2 seconds. Refund please :-(

Only half a dozen or so hotels or restaurants listed, out of date information, needs a SERIOUS update!! Dont waste your money

This app made our trip to this beautiful island invaluable. Shows you the everything you need to know regarding the go too places on the island. This app along with our stay at The Islay Hotel was just perfect.

I came across this wee app during a wee tour of the Inner Hebrides. The app gave us all the information needed for our short trip to Islay b&b’s, pubs, whisky distilleries and more. Tbh our 2 day visit wasn’t enough time to see everything that Islay has to offer but the app allowed us to plan and visit what we had read up on in the tour books with the bonus factor of giving us local information not found in any travel book. Already planning a return trip in the spring to see the things we missed out on. I wish the other Inner Hebrides islands had something similar
