The Lord of the Rings: Heroes

I’m trying to do a shadow mission and every time it freezes. When I try to forfeit the match it doesn’t go any further and I have to force close the game. Really frustrating as it’s costing me energy to keep trying.

Didn’t come into this with high expectations given the state of Galaxy of Heroes and the trailer and I’m still disappointed. The graphics are atrocious, especially compared to how good Galaxy of Heroes looks but given it’s a different art concept, you’d be comparing to Marvel Strike Force which again is head and shoulders better than the graphics of this. Constantly getting game errors and being forced to restart the game, slow and laggy menus as well as every week or so being told I don’t have enough space to play the game despite having plenty free are just a handful of issues I have with the game. Animations for battles are cool, especially when characters team up but it’s not groundbreaking given Marvel Strike Force has it. Character collection is fun and easy which is the main reason I play these kind of games and look forward to all the potential additions down the line. To cut it short, they’ve tried to mimic Marvel Strike Force and done a horrific job of it

A load of trash Warner bros should be ashamed for letting EA release this mess Warner bros has mortal kombat unslaught in beta which looks amazing just not enough content yet and also Harry Potter magic awakened is a amazing game hopefully should be release in 15 days if they release it at the end of this current season

This is nothing but a gacha from by EA (shock). The Tolkien estate are notorious for protecting the IP and works of the author so I am flabbergasted by the use of the IP for this money grab! Bundles between £19.99 all the way up to £99.99 thrown at you straight out of the tutorial actually made me laugh and thank it for making its intentions so clear. Gameplay is weak AF too for anyone that even tries to experience it (auto/fast forward whilst hands off).

This game crashes CONSTANTLY! Absolutely sick of seeing the pop up asking me to restart the game. I’ve tried the contact button to refer the issues but ended up in some confusion of incredibly unhelpful reporting maze and did not know how to send the feedback correctly. Rubbish. The micro transaction element is embarrassing. Disappointed

So far there is nothing about this game that would make me invest money. The graphics are out of date. The grind for items starts way too early in the game. The price of items is obscene. Having played SWGOH and many other games of this type, this is by far the worst in its genre.

I’ve been enjoying this so far, other than the graphics are totally broken. I think it mainly happens when it tries to use advanced textures, all I get are black blocks that obscure anything else on the screen. A lot of the time I can’t see health bars or even buttons as they are hidden beneath these black blocks.

I do like the game; I am a big fan of LOTR, played the MMORPG, like this type of game where you grind for character and gear shards (I have been playing SWGOH for a few years), but the pay wall is shocking and it is another example of a company making money from microtransactions. At gier tier 5, you will be hit by the ‘luminous shard’ wall, which is ridiculous. I wouldn’t mind if the gear cap was tier 6 or 7, but you are choked by having to grind, or 💥buy💥, luminous shards to gear up your characters…..I didn’t see this level of constraint in either SWGOH or marvel, but it feels far worse here. Good game if you want an hour game when taking the tube or bus…..absolute irrelevant money sink if you want to progress.
