I have downloaded and used 40 chess apps over the past few years. Some are really good, some are crappy. This one, however, is completely different in just about every respect, in that incorporates the better elements of what I like about the others. Perhaps because it’s based upon Walter Tevis’ book and the Netflix series “The Queen’s Gambit” it has thematic elements that tie everything together. In any case, I’m hooked and I’m learning and growing and enjoying every moment !
I feel like I’m learning from the best in a cool Queen’s Gambit vibe.
It is refreshing to be taught chess skills with the chess terminology and not having to pay for it. Thank you.
This game seems to be the perfect way to learn from scratch. Thank you for also making it visually pleasing.
I have been playing chess all my life and loved the series.
I am excited to be in the tv show world and learn how to play chess!
If you love Queen’s Gambit and want to learn to play chess, this is a great game to start with!
I was playing another chess game and this is literally 100 times better… I like the educational aspect… I’m a millennial and I used to read books on how to play chess better but can never improve the way that this game can teach me
Bring this game to steam, it’s probably going to be more comfortable playing with the mouse. Unless you have an iPad. Also, I think there should be an option of “hints” like chess.com Overall I’m impressed with the game & I loved the series
