I would like a refund
I love hidden object games and this one was no exception. I enjoyed the game but I had some game play issues, such as:
*the hint button glitching and not working for 3/4 of the game
* I exited the game and when I went back on none of my progress saved.
* the game froze continuously throughout
* game crashed more than once.
This was possibly one of the best hidden object games I've played but the issues in the game really made it less fun. It wasn't worth the price I payed for. If there's issues like this the price should be lowered. I would like a refund for at least half of the money I spent on this game.
Just say no
Hint quit working. Lights up but no help given. Have to leave game to go to walk through.
The game controls are hopeless
Not sure what the problem is, but the mini game controls are useless. Can't actually finish some mini games because I can't get the parts to move. Frustrating obviously, but in general it's a mid level game anyway.
Great Game
Enjoyable and interesting. Good hidden object scenes, puzzles and character voices. A big improvement in this series. Loved the teleporting map and the many items to find in each scene.
If you haven't tried this one - give it a chance!
A nice long game.
Thank You, KdBoots
Really??
Is this the best that we get now? It's sad because I know there are so many better games out there. This game had nothing to keep my interest. I had high hopes for it as I really like games of this story line but this game left me flat. There was no morphing objects and the collectibles were unappealing. Even at the sale price it's not worth my money back but thank you for giving us a chance to trial it before we shall out our hard earned money like you've been doing lately. I promise you, BigFish, that I will not give you any more money for a game that does not have a trial.
I'll make simple, this game is no good
As a person who has played around 200 of these hidden objects games, do not waste your money.
Disappointed
I was SO hoping this game would be fun, but, there is SO much back and forth that it's boring and annoying. I'm spoiled by games with more "bells and whistles." I want a map with teleporting. I want lots of hidden objects, while this had none. It seemed old. I thought it was an old game being released on sale, but it says this is its introduction. It's a few years late, I think. Back to the drawing board.
The Secret of This Game: Pretty Darn Good! It's "about time"!
I love this series because I prefer mystery and suspense over fantasy, and this one is up my alley. It reminds me of a sort of "knights of the round table" type theme. You play an English lady, Sarah Pennington, who, being a member of The Secret Order of the Griffin, has been fighting the Order of the Dragon for some time. After a brief recess, your father contacts you because the Order's secret artifacts have been "acting up"; and using the secret gift of time travel, you are transported back to England in the 1800's to find King Amadon and to accomplish what you need to do in order to defeat your foes. The music helps to add a sense of suspense to the story with crescendos or climaxes at appropriate times. The graphics are a disappointment because they are faded and grainy; they should have been much sharper and clearer - especially in some of the interactive pop-ups. The inventory is labeled and interactive; some items will require assembly. The map has fast teleport, as well as labeled locations and marked tasks, if applicable. There are three modes of difficulty without the option to customize settings so, unfortunately, you might have sparkles and tapping penalties. There is no "back" button, but one was not needed since you have to tap more than once to be taken back a scene. You have a journal to read the story as you progress, as well as your objectives. You are assisted by an adorable baby griffin that I just want to adopt to reach items in higher grounds. There are some fun elements added in here, such as finding rune stones to permit travel to other worlds and using a Golem's heart, which is powered by rune stones, to animate statues. The HOS are mainly word lists, with nice interaction, consisting of artifacts relative to the story. One other type was to find fragments of an item to complete a whole object. You can switch to Mahjong instead. There were many puzzles, being about 41 or so; and they were mainly simple and nicely interwoven into the story. One type was to swap tiles on a lock making sure all of the sums of the rows/columns add up to 12; then the door unlocks. Another was a storybook type where you use the elements to advance the story. You are collecting statues of several types of creatures in the locations, including the pop-ups. They blend into the background very well. The extras include movies, art, and mini-games - nothing special. I deducted a
star because the graphics were, in my opinion, pretty awful
