Secret Society Hidden Mystery Pop-up Sounds
Having been addicted to SSHM for years, and now ranking amongst the 1,000+ level players (making me within the top 20 in the UK), I reckon I have earned and paid for the right to have a moan. Not that my moan is about the game itself you understand, but rather the bolt-on additions; the pop-up game invites. These offers to play other G5 games are irksome over time, but nothing compared to the intrusive music accompanying them. I have the sound off during SSHM play in favour of listening to streamed music over a Bluetooth speaker. Every time a pop-up invite appears, it overrides my music, switches off my playlist and forces me to re-set my streaming software afterwards. There is no option to “turn off pop-up sound”, just the mute setting for the game sound itself. So you have to turn the sound off on your device completely and stream music on a different device or play in complete silence. Lose 2 stars just for this. Fix it and you get 5 stars from me.
