Thingz: The "First-hand" Marke

Buy, Sell and Trade the Thingz

Beschreibung

Thingz is a social marketplace, the bridge you’ve been waiting for between social and e-commerce. In today's connected world, where you can rent someone’s couch, there’s no reason not to ask them to sell you a lamp from their living room or trade a guitar from their collection. It’s simple and fun.
What makes Thingz different from other selling apps?
Well, You can think of Amazon as “things you don’t have,” on eBay as “things you don’t want,” and on Thingz as a way to engage people about everything you own. We call it the “First-hand” market, but it’s much more, it’s about showcasing your collections, exploring what people own and love and buying from others in a whole new way.

How does it work?
Swipe a panoramic picture of your space/collection, and your “Showroom” is up and running. Thingz recognizes your items and makes sure the right people see them. Anybody can visit your Showrooms, ask about your Thingz and make offers to buy or trade. An endless bazaar of possibilities without ever leaving home.

Why use Thingz?
· CREATE VALUE: You never know what people might offer for things you just have laying around. That lamp that you never really wanted, might be what someone needs to make her living room perfect, your bike, guitar, painting, those are all things that might be worth more to others than you imagine or are worth to you.
· SUPER EASY: all you need to do to create a ShowRoom is take a picture of it. You can use the camera in the app or upload from your gallery. It’s that simple. Once you’re done, other users will start offering trades.
· ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE: Why buy things, when you can use what you have to get what you want? Buying is easy but think about the amount of junk we’re creating and the stress that puts on our planet.
· FRESH LOOK: Thingz is a fresh way to share the things you have and take a look and see how others live. When was that last time you could walk into someone’s house and ask him “would you like to sell that amazing table?”, now multiply that by thousands, everybody is opening their Collections.
