Crooked
Deleting this piece of S. This game breaks its own rules. It’s supposed to bring a tile in whenever there is a match.. Randomly it’ll just decide to bring the tile in and another piece of the board. And then it’ll decide suddenly that all of the next tiles are going to be all red or all blue. It’s not random. It is rigged to make you lose. I enjoy it, but I hate it. Because this game decides you know it decides that you’re going to lose. At least in chess there are rules that you can understand. With this game, there’s no understanding.
When the game decides that you are going to lose, you will lose. I just got done playing a game with reds that came out in a row.
Game Center ruined this
I have played this game for many years. All of a sudden Game Center sign in was required. No reason no benefit. If I turn Game Center off, the app nags me ever time I launch it. No way to disable it at all
Intentionally impossible after 1 good win
Calibration of how quickly to increase difficulty is awful. After *one* time getting 20k amidst a sea of 3000s, it drastically changed the way it throws new blocks in making precious strategies unusable. If you derive satisfaction from developing a strategy and refining it, and seeing ever increasing scores, it won’t work with this game.
I started playing threes ages ago when it was new. It was one of my favorites. The last few times I’ve reached for it though, I have one fun game and then it’s completely frustrating.
There is no winning this game
I’m really not that stupid but I can’t beat this game for trying. It is a waste of my time and frustrating.
Interesting
Had trouble getting the menu button to show up but it finally did.
Such a great game
I’ve been playing this game since it came out, and it is so good. Amongst so many other good things, the developers are great people. When my daughter, who loves this game had a life-threatening accident, her ability to keep playing this game, let her know that she was going to be ok. When I wrote to tell this to the developers, they were beyond kind in their response.
One thing I would really love to see would be a way to see more granular statistics and even a way to download them so that I could manipulate and graph them more accurately. After playing 8483 games (!) I’d like to know if I am I actually, slowly getting better or did I plateau years ago?
Anyway, this is a great game and you won’t regret paying for it!
Twitchy
Over the last month or so (since an update?), the app crashed quite frequently. Crashes are more frequent if the app is in a folder, but still happen on the Home Screen. Crash disables the retry button but user can still scroll between screens. Have to delete app and reinstall to solve the problem. Doesn’t last too long and then do it again.
Want to give more but cheated me on GC 😢
I worked hard to make my high score 86,901 but it's not showing on the GameCenter leaderboard. I suspect it's because I did it during a flight wher devices had to be in airplane mode. I assumed it would sync after we landed and I reconnected, but it has been weeks and it never did - or ever will, probably. It still shows in the app history tho! My 82,179 is in app history but doesn't show on GC either, so I'm stuck with 82,143 there. It's so hard to make progress, so this was really disappointing and cost 10k+ ranking positions. I'll never reach the top, but I'd like the achievement preserved.
Doesn’t work
Misreads swipes constantly
No Restart Button?
This game is great, but as long as I can’t figure out how to restart a session, I can’t give it 4 stars. It’s a very basic function. And if it does exist, it’s not super obvious for dumb users like me.
