1. You get charged for companies simply just looking for pros on behalf of someone else’s interest regardless if they follow through with hiring you or if they just wanted to search/shop around 2. Instant booking is 2-2.5x the usual price thumbtack charges you. If the job can only charge up to $100 max.. sometimes the instant booking charges 60+ leaving you with no room to profit. There’s no margins! 3. I owe hundreds but I quit the app so they’re never getting the money from me bc I lost hundreds. 4. Sometime they’re fake leads, meaning someone has a fake name and email and phone number. You lose money instantly 5. If you don’t report a scam or issue within the time frame they need you lose money, so don’t be too busy! 6. I can name 10 more points but what’s the point, you lose!

They are based only on serving the customer but do not take care of the rights of the PROs, customers contact 5 Companies at the same time without them knowing that each of us is CHARGED a price, it is not fair that they charge a Leads before being hired, it is too expensive the truth, where there are leads of up to 85 dollars for a repair and customer only wants to pay 50 per service call and the minimum for the repair, there is no equivalence between what this company says that their mission is to bring the customer closer to the companies And make us win more customers, that doesn't make sense. Se basan solo en atender el cliente pero no cuidan los derechos de los PRO, los clientes contactan a 5 Compañías a la vez sin ellos saber que a cada de nosotros nos COBRAN un precio, no es justo que cobren un Leads antes de ser contratados, es demasiado costoso la verdad, donde hay leads de hasta 85 dólares por una reparación y cliente solo quiere pagar 50 por llamada de servicio y lo más mínimo por la reparación, no hay equivalencia entre lo que dice esta compañía que la misión de ellos es acercar el cliente a las compañías y hacer que ganemos más clientes, eso no hace sentido. He ganado clientes aquí pero lo que he pagado por aquellos que no nos contratan no se recupera como los leads por instalaciones que son los más costosos de hasta 120.00 dólares, creo que deberían pensar más en los derechos de los Pro antes de generar más ganancias para ustedes, no sé si me van a vetar después de que escriba este comentario, pero quise hacerlo en español para que la comunidad hispana también se informe que falta información hacia los clientes antes de contratar a 20 compañías a la vez.

Great Useful profitable app

Absolutely the worst app and biggest scam ever if you are a pro. Spent a fortune in the last month and not a single job came to fruition. Do some web searches online and you’ll realize that this company is terrible.

This app is a scam they create fake leads and charge you and you can’t call anyone

I worked with this app for a year. If you are a master who wants to work with this app. Then you are not here! Do not waste money on empty Leads. The app does not respect its masters.

On Thumbtack you can only find customers who are not serious and just asking for the price or put the request and don’t even answer. 95% of the customers have no intent to hire. But guess what you’re paying for those leads even if they don’t answer the phone, and a lot of them not even answering the phone , or responding back on massages. One customer can contact even five Contractors so you are competing with five other contractors for the customer who’s not serious and looking to get the job done cheap. Of course Contractors pay for leads no matter what.

The price of the leads are very expensive. They charge you $30-$100 for a lead even if you don’t get hired. Housecall pro is better. Thumbtack only let you customize your budget 1 time then they make you switch to unlimited budget so they take thousands of dollars a month so BEWARE
