Ticket to Earth

What can I say. The basic game loop is similar to grindstone but it doesn’t have the magic and polish that grind stone has. The art looks like it was made by fiver artists. The story and dialogue is very generic and didn’t keep my attention. If you are looking for a pay and play story driven game this seems like it would check all of the boxes but it’s just not very interesting.

The story grows on you, but the gameplay is fun and challenging from the start!

This game is superbly satisfying; the way characters power up through specific tile colors story, the comic book style, all comes together quite seamlessly

As so many other reviewers have noted, this game does so many things right! The story is tight and interesting, the weapons-perks-elements development ladder is nuanced and really changes the gameplay as you go, and it’s just so hard to put down! I really wish they made the second installment!!!

Backbone controller support would be great

I play game to avoid game. Why adding real world politics in it? Universal health care in the end ?

It’s crazy how this games keeps coming up in my “go to” stash for something quick and fun to play. I suspect I’ve been through it 15+ times now, but it’s still a great game at its core. Quirky dialogue and story which is actually a very good part of the game, but the battle/matrix part of it is what keeps me coming back. I’ll sometimes play through and ensure I get ALL the nitrium, or maybe I’ll play with zero weapon upgrades... but the basics of this game keep it fun. Of all the smaller app type games I’ve purchased, this one is a far favorite.

This game is on another level. Fun and novel mechanics, compelling story, and plenty of powers/character development choices that let you play your way.
