Less functionality that the real thing
The widgets they have function well for me, but I wish there were more to choose from or that you could either place them in stacks together or have them rotate automatically like the Tidbyt displays

I really like my physical Tidbyt. So much so that I purchased a year subscription for this widget app. The app has not worked now for months. I emailed support and have received no response. I have completely wasted $20 purchasing this subscription. Pretty frustrating, especially since the physical product is so good. Purchaser beware.
I have had multiple ads in the now free variation and about 1/2 or so are just scams to get your phone hacked. This is seeming pretty skeezy. Hope the developer makes changes to that and the lack of apps, as well as the lack of good ui. Hope TidByt 2.0 isn’t as bad off:(
NYC transit changes to completely different train lines when going full screen. These trains are not even in close proximity to me
App will not open on IPhone Can’t get pass first screen Uninstall and reinstall had no effect
Can’t add any widgets. Every widget that I try says it’s offline. You know what does work though…the ads that pop up whenever you try to add a widget. SMH
Big Tidbyt fan and user here! Saw this app and thought I’d try it out - more for the aesthetic than needed info. Looks like if I buy for iOS, I can’t use on both iPhone and iPad without paying twice. Is this the intent?
Great idea. Kinda cool for the look and on busy game days it’s informative. If… if it worked. Only 3 of a days games show. It skips fast and back to the first. I’ve tinkered with every setting I know of and it’s the same. Weather you ask. Well, it shows the predicted highs to be 5-7 degrees more than any other weather outlet. Lows running the same. Sad. I want this to work.
I tried to add a widget and was stopped by a paywall with the only option being a subscription. This is price gouging at its worst. As an owner of a Tidbyt device, I will never use this garbage app on my phone! Best part is after I cancelled the subscription screen, the app no longer loads for me. Don’t worry, I don’t want it either and will delete after this review.
Missing settings or info inside the app, all you can do is select widgets. After you select a widget and want to save it, you get hit with the paywall. This could be handled better with some light onboarding that explains what I get for my $1.99/mo or $19.99/year. I value developers and pay for plenty of apps, so this is a criticism of the how and not the why or the what.
