Still not quite there

Many improvements over the last several updates however one of the worst bugs is still unsolved: when video playback fails, instead of triggering player resuming after 3 seconds, the app starts playing the next channel or video in the channel list. One way around this is to play a video directly from the search results but of course it’s less than ideal. That way, if playback fails the stream resumes after a few secs and player doesn’t jump to next video. With videos on demand, these suddenly stop playing and take you back to the menu.

More and more bugs

JD&FD on

Vereinigte Staaten

Despite the release notes in the last version, it’s still impossible to add a source on Apple TV. Since v17.3 it’s been impossible to add any new source. Any plans to fix this? UPDATE: My app setting page says Pro and I’ve been able to add new sources in the past. Also, it’s not that it now won’t let me save a new source. It lets me click on “add source” and even enter the URL, then, before I’m even able to click Save, it takes me abruptly to the source screen. If it is as you say, wouldn’t that happen when I go and hit save? ONE MORE UPDATE: now that you’ve enabled the option to channel surf, when a stream pauses, instead of resuming, it causes the player to change channel. Not cool

Can’t load large libraries

JD&FD on

Vereinigte Staaten

Looks promising but it’s unable to load large libraries so not very useful at the moment. Also, when channels stop streaming they don’t resume playing unless I hit play again and again and again. And there is no way to channel surf so you have to go back to the channel list when you want a different channel
