Timeline Up!

Where do I start? Let's do the positives first: - This game has potential, it is quite fun - Great time killer - Simple to play, not too hard, not too easy either Now the negatives: - The "no ads" thing from this game's own ad unfortunately isn't really true... - The performance is EXTREMELY BAD, and I mean that, it's so awful that it can't go without lagging for even 10 seconds... And when it lags, it messes up your entire gameplay... I haven't played for that long so far, but I'm already so disappointed, the performance issue ruins the game for me completely... But as I said, it does have potential and would be fun if it wasn't for the negatives... Two stars is the highest I can go now, one star would be unfair, because I do like the concept and would really like to play more of this game, if only it wasn't so frustrating with its performance... I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, I can run MUCH more detailed games (such as Real Racing 3 for example) on full details without a problem... Yet a game that's as simple as this one lags A LOT every 10 seconds or so? That's just terrible... When it's playable, I'll definitely consider writing a new review, but until then, this is all I can give it...

After you reach timeline 6, it is repeating all over again, I’ve reached 930 level and no escape from there. At the beginning no ads, after or you pay or you need to see ads every level you passed. I bought gems, no ads option, energy and now I’m stuck. If someone from developers read this post, you are testing you’re product?

Sooo… ads still pop up after every level. But… I have maxed out everything and it’s impossible to get into another timeline. I think timeline 4 or 5. I am stuck at cyberpunk. Level 640 or something and I still can’t get into another timeline and have Nothing to level up. Update: ok. So I was trying to reach developers, no response. Game is bugged. Timeline 6 is last one. There’s no timeline 7. It is on repeat. I tried to get to timeline 7. Game itself said that I was on 7. But it was all over again… farmers, archers, cowboys, etc… dungeon and that other thing the same. It was stuck on samurai boss and robot era. Overall good game. But this totally ruined my experience.

if i wouldnt have to wait hour to get one chance to play, this game would have 5 stars, but the waiting is so bad

It starts off with 0 ads. Great! Until it starts asking you if you want to watch it’s, optional ads ok not that bad. Eventually it gives you and ad every single level it literally lied and said no ads so do not fall for they’re money hungry tricks

The premise—aligning events in chronological order—might sound intriguing at first, but any semblance of excitement fizzles out within minutes. First, the graphics are uninspired. The interface feels like it was designed in a rush, with generic icons and bland color palettes that fail to spark any interest. The text, which should engage players with fascinating historical tidbits, instead reads like the dullest footnotes from a mediocre textbook. Then there’s the gameplay. Swiping and dragging cards into the right order is less “strategic thinking” and more “mindless trial and error.” Even when you know the answers, the game’s lack of progression incentives makes every round feel like busywork. And don’t get me started on the inconsistent difficulty curve—some rounds are insultingly easy, while others seem intentionally obtuse, leaving you guessing rather than thinking critically. To add salt to the wound, “Timeline Up” is riddled with ads. You’ll spend more time being bombarded with pop-ups for other mobile games than actually playing. Sure, you can pay to remove them, but why anyone would invest money in this snoozefest is beyond me. Ultimately, “Timeline Up” lacks any lasting appeal. It’s neither educational enough to teach you something meaningful nor fun enough to keep you entertained. If you’re looking for a historical game that’s worth your time, skip this one and search elsewhere. This app is little more than a swipe in the wrong direction.
