Timelogger: Time Tracking

Very useful app for time tracking. However, it would be perfect if I could create subfolders.

The App itself is nice to use and visualizes the data quite nice. However, a Bug lead to all my data being lost. Even having used iCloud sync didn‘t help anything. I was too lazy to change the app, and the same bug occured again, just two days later, again deleting the data of the last two days.

The app does it’s job very well. The UI looks clean and the information is useful. Apart from that, the connection to Watch is sometimes bit sluggish and I cannot seem to find iOS widget anywhere.

There may be apps out there with slightly more features. However in my opinion those apps are somewhat bloated and have lost focus of what is really important. For me it is the ease of use as I do not want to spend more time working on the tracking app than working for customers. This app has all I need. Simply start a new task - assign it to a group (if desired) and press the timer start button. There also is a notes field where you can write some more infos. The reporting system is fantastic and can generate a pdf with all relevant data. Export as .csv is also possible. Thanks to the developer for selling such a great app at a very low price.

Irgendwie sind die Widgets nicht zu finden, was eigentlich der Hauptgrund für mich war, die App zu nutzen!

Packed with features, works really well on all devices. UI looks nice, you can gain a lot of insights from the data displayed. The workflow is sometimes not as easy as I hope (sometimes I have to push more buttons than I’d like), but compared to other apps it is still acceptable. Sync between devices is fast and pretty reliable. There is no sync to other services than iCloud; You are stuck with it, or export CSV files manually every so often. I’ve tried other apps to benefit from their better cross-platform support, but have always gone back to this app for some reason or another. Great work and excellent product!

... especially the fact that the app does not force you to create an account

I find it much more difficult to use now as there is not the ability to do two things at once. And a lot of us who are time conscious can do two things at once, for an example, walking and learning a language, at the same time, knitting and studying and many many more so I find it a bit frustrating to only be able to log one thing at a time. I have enjoyed this app for a very long time until the recent changes. I’m finding it a little bit difficult.

Keeps erasing my time record after saying can’t sync to iCloud even though I have it turned off.
