Great app👍

I really enjoy your Timemator app. I appreciate how well-designed and thoughtfully crafted it is. Everything is optimized for ease of use, and the app offers attractive and insightful statistics. I also have some suggestions for improving the product. I’ve noticed a few issues and have some feedback that I believe could significantly enhance the user experience. 1. It would be great to add an option to display time logs directly within the main iCloud calendar. 2. In the mobile version, unlike the desktop version, I don’t see an automatic breakdown of where and in which apps time is being spent. 3. It would be useful to add a task entry feature similar to Toggl, where a button lets you start tracking with the option to add tasks and folders. Ideally, when entering a task, any previously recorded details would auto-fill. 4. Adding a widget, like the one in ATracker Pro, with buttons to quickly start time tracking for various tasks would be helpful. If it’s a brand new task, it could have a “+” sign for adding a new entry on the fly. 5. The “Add notes” window in the session view on iOS could be a bit larger (similar to ATracker Pro), as it currently only shows part of the text while typing, making it harder to review and edit descriptions. 6. Notifications on iOS sometimes display incorrect information, showing time logs from old tasks that are already completed. It doesn’t consistently display current tasks, which are often hidden or overridden by finished entries.

Will silently delete your saved entries, DO NOT TRUST THIS APP

I noticed one day I had added 3 entires that they were all missing when I checked that evening. I added those same entries back in, and then noticed about 10 minutes later, Timemator automatically deleted them again. So I looked back over the last month, and noticed I have a lot less time entries than I know there should be. I shared this with the developer, shared a screen recording showing entries getting deleted without any interaction, and shared logs from the app. The developer never responded. This was over 3 months ago. I have no idea how much money this app has cost me, from it silently wiping out entries.

Underrated App

My roommate convinced me to start tracking my time since I have horrible time management. This is the app he uses and he’s a developer so he very picky. I love it so far!

Well before you run.

You are a multiple b/millionaire company now that you associate with SetApp, yet the basics don’t work. I pause a task, it co tongues to run. I restart my phone, it continues. Stop innovating and focus on the basics.

Horrible app

Unfriendly to use and unpractical. I’m deleting it and closing the account, so better do not charge me after the trial, which I’m not even using it.

My Go-To for Time Tracking!

Quick update: As of the latest version of this app, for whatever reason, it is showing the titles of the "categories" twice, in bold letters, while using the app. This will need to be fixed.... (and update: This was fixed quickly by the developer within about 3 days!!!) Other than that, the app is awesome! Below is my previous review as of a few weeks ago: Where was this all my life??? I had been testing and using a LOT of time tracking apps (Tyme 3, GoodTask, TickTick, Session, etc.), all of them have their various strengths and weaknesses, but when I started using this app, what put me over the top with it (and ultimately sticking with it) is its Reports area! One of the biggest things that I am finding myself wanting to see when it comes to time tracking is the ability to, at a glance, see the breakdown of what I have been doing over time. Each of the aforementioned apps have their own ways of doing it, but when I was able to single-handedly click on any task or folder at any time, and see a breakdown of what I had been doing within that folder or task (or even series of tasks) over the course of a day, week, month, or year, that is a big deal…. Secondly, to see the money “coming forth” in real time after assigning an hourly rate toward a task or series of tasks is also an awesome feature…. All in all: The syncing feature of this app is top notch amongst all platforms (Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Watch), and with the latest addition of Live Activities toward the iOS platform, it is taking full advantage of the latest features of the iPhone and iPad, which also is great as well. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is interested in doing time tracking of their life, as it really shines once you start using it and seeing over time what you have been doing, which ultimately should help you in moving forward in this thing called Life!

Simple, Effective, & Useful

I love the simplicity of Timemator. I’ve tried tons of time tracking apps but none of them have come close to the simplicity and usefulness of Timemator.

Beautiful app but no support or updates

This is the most aesthetic, pleasing and practical time tracking app there is, but there has been widget bugs on macOS and there are no live activities on the iPhone app. I emailed the developer a few times and no response. When you look at his social media, he is MIA.

Best time tracker I have used

Basically all that I wanted to track the time. Gave me a lot of insight regarding how much time I really spent on each things, and I start to use these metric for analysis instead of just based on intuition. Some parts can be improved. I will be much better to have iPhone widgets on home & Lock Screen, maybe island too. This will help a lot to reminder to when to start or stop the tracker.

Hi folks! I’m a recent convert from NowThenPro—and while there are a few features I miss from NowThenPro that I’d like to see here someday (ex. mainly being able to filter, sort, and utilize different views to visualize your data)—overall the intuitive interface/ui and the functionality of being able to use rules for automated time tracking on my Mac, then being able to step away from my workspace and 👏 track time👏 via a widget 👏directly👏from the 👏home face👏 of my Apple Watch ⌚️ is ✨ insanely powerful✨ I can’t emphasize enough how this app actually ✨encourages✨me to log my time by making time tracking feel easy!✨ Previously, I was irritated by a handful of apps/subscriptions I tried that had limited support between my devices. For example, I’d be working on my main desktop then I’d step away to do design work on my iPad or go do housework (I work from home, can you tell lol) and I’d have to constantly return back to my desktop and interrupt the task I was doing just to track it. NowThenPro was my go-to but even then I became tired of having to take my phone with me everywhere to log my time. I’d love to see added features and functionality when it comes to reviewing your data someday! Currently, my use-case is I use this primarily to track billable hours for my clients, however, since I manage multiple projects for each client and multiple clients, I like being able to review my data to give better estimates to how much time the scope of a particular project will take when I’m on consultation calls. Additionally, I use this to track my 9-5 and home-related tasks to get an overall feel for my work-life balance 🏡 💼 Currently, I like the daily and weekly bar graph view, however, on most of my devices the “time breakdown” usually is not sorted in order of what I spent the most time on 🤔 🧐 for ex., it will show a random task I spent little time on first and mix tasks, I can’t tell how it sorts them 🤔 Ideally, it would be cool it at least it sorted time/billable hours by what you spent the most time on. Additional cool features could be to view data in pie chart form or even being able to filter and visualize data within a specific folder. My use case is I’d like to review how I spent my time completing a specific client project, or being able to see where the bulk of my time goes for a particular client— essentially focusing on a particular folder for reviewing time tracked versus viewing the big picture. I could go on😂 to wrap up— intuitive, seamless, portable
