Timery for Toggl

The app itself is very good. However, it is also very unstable, crashes a lot and becomes unresponsive. THe developer should focus on the quality of their software.

I have been a multiple-year, heavy user of Timery and happy so far. My Saved Timers get deleted/messed up every month or so, so I have to set them up all over again. My emails to the developer have been unanswered for several months.

It's not possible to automatically pause the timer. Turn off your computer and it keeps counting.

I can’t complain about the price itself, but there is something that irks me immensely about renting a program and never really owning it. I’d rather pay 30+ upfront. What if the company closes shop, or the app is withdrawn for another reason? I really don’t like having that possibility. That said, it does have free options instead of being a useless demo. Lastly, you can’t interact with anything without internet. There are several times throughout the day where I don’t have a connection, making it useless then. Apart from that, it’s fantastic, finally a tracking app with (extensive) shortcuts integration and decent design. I’m still irked by the lack of independence though.

It does what it says and it does it really well. Using this app instead of the official toggl app reminded me how much I need idle detection on MacOS to track phone calls etc by managing the time afterwards.

App should also be available in German language.Developer not responding to support requests. Subscription cancelled. Next year German language timer app.

Ich nutze Timery zur Sebstkontrolle bei Prüfungsvorbereitungen. Es lässt sich prima mit Shortcuts integrieren und synchronisiert sich über alle Geräte. Einziges Manko: Internet ist immer benötigt, selbst um einen Timer zu starten. Hier könnte noch nachgebessert werden, da beispielsweise im Zug das Netz nicht immer gegeben ist.

Would be 5 stars if there was was an easy way to see how many sessions you had each day in the statistics :)

Why do I have to login again every time I restart my phone? That’s annoying!
