Update June 2024: I stopped playing tiny tower because there are 5 buttons on my screen for micro transactions. My favorite mini game of "I spy" is burried behind 1 button, then another 3 micro transaction buttons under that. I have a small screen and the obnoxious side bar buttons make me not enjoy the game. I bought gold tier a few years ago for the vip room choice because I enjoyed the game. I'd rather pay once for the game and be able to enjoy playing again. I love building sims. This is perfect for on the go. I got the one time vip bonus a couple years ago and don't feel the need to make other micro transactions. I do sometimes to support the developers and upgrade my house faster hehe. You can get as involved as you want with this game. Choosing tower floors for a theme or output. Skilling bitizens. Arranging floors. Customizing bitizens, outfits, and floor colors. Upgrading the tower skill tree, elevator, and floor levels. In not a fan of the legendary bitizens. That's the only feature you can't reasonably get without micro transactions over time, and those transactions are a lottery. I haven't found a way to get legendary bitizens outside micro transactions or very low chance event lotteries.
Just waiting on new costumes to be added that aren’t seasonal, my bitizins need more clothes!
This is a great idle game. I played it many years ago and I’ve came back to it full force. It’s easy to figure out and you don’t feel trapped behind any pay walls to progress.
It’s pretty good, doesn’t force you to watch any ads. If you choose to watch ads, you will be rewarded greatly, though it is not necessary to progress. Pretty simple game, easy to learn, I like to hop on it and play a bit when there’s downtime at work. I recommend this game.
I've been playing this game nearly every day for almost a year now and I used to have it when I was a kid. I absolutely loved it, but this game drastically went downhill in the last few months. The screen clutter seems to get somehow worse with every update and the updates themselves are just generally awful. Instead of adding new floors, they add more micro-transactions, more VIPs to the point where you cannot level any of them up since it takes a while to just get one of them, and more awful events. The events used to be so good and rewarding. If you logged in for a few minutes a few times a day and grinded a little bit here and there, you could complete the events and get the rewards. In recent months though, since around the Christmas event, the events have become LESS rewarding and they are practically impossible to complete unless you buy some sort of pack between $5-$10, which is outrageous for something that does not last even a month. This is true no matter how hard you grind. You could spend hours a day (which most people won't be able to do anyway) and still not complete an event. A lot of it is luck-based as well. Overall, the events are just trash and there's honestly no real incentive to play and the amount of micro-transactions that you pretty much NEED if you want to get anywhere is disgusting. If you play enough, you should be rewarded for doing so.
I’ve had this game for years and played it off and on. I bought the vip package a very long time ago, and am glad you don’t keep reminding us to buy more. Even though I’ve gotten all the achievements, I still play it. As a side note, I love the way you write your update info. You always end them with a funny note. Thank you for keeping this game light and fun!
Been playing this game for years, but I’ve maxed out on the floors. Do you plan on adding new floors?
