Tivoli Audio ART App

Just does not work and not allowed to give NO STARS. You’ve been warned.

I gave up on the app shortly after I bought the unit. I update it and try again from time to time but it never gets any better. The DAB radio function on the unit seems to have permanently malfunctioned. Apparently it can be made to work through the app, and I go through lots of steps and everything that is supposed to happen does happen except no sound comes out of the speakers. The instructions are either absent or incomprehensible. My suggestion is to sack the whole app development team and get people who know what they are doing to start again from scratch

Terrible for the exorbitant price tag for a company priding itself on technology

I bought some 1st generation art cube speakers and a model cd to setup a stereo system for my mother. I’m beginning to regret my purchase because the art app used to connect them all and play music is terrible. It took many attempts to connect my devices to my wifi network via the app and it constantly forgets devices connected to the zone I have already set up. Add to this the only seamless way to stream music is via Spotify. The app is virtually useless for any other music streaming services if you are using first generation Tivoli products. It’s such a shame but I don’t think I can recommend Tivoli audio products to anyone unless there are drastic improvements to the app.

So disappointed in this. Bought the Art series speakers and CD player. The Wi Fi set up is clumsy and complicated. Seriously? It's terrible.

I recently bought the gen one Model One digital because it was on sale. The Model One works but trying to get the app working is just frustrating. The model one said it had connected to the wifi but the app said it had not and wouldn’t let me do anything except retry to connect to wifi. So gave up and now I am using Bluetooth directly.

Don’t wast your time you will waste hours resetting to no avail

Not great. Constantly have to reset connections. The app gets stuck and it’s not at all clear what to do next. Both speakers drop out of the zone I set up and it’s very difficult to work out how to troubleshoot. I’ve spent a lot of time being frustrated and not being able to make my radio and cube play at all - which is incredibly disappointing as the sound quality is great once they’re actually working. It’s just that you don’t actually want to spend 40 minutes faffing around every time you want to play some music.

The app is as disappointing as the multi room/speaker feature. All of it is so unstable to the point of unusable. I’m so disappointed. Sure, the TivOneDigital is a goodish radio and Bluetooth speaker, but that’s it. I wouldn’t recommend any system that relies on this app for functionality.
