TN5250 Lite

Just tried this Lite version. Pretty consistent with IBMs Client Access and HOD emulations Lite version only has some function keys enabled. I could not use our work system well without the F12 enabled Overall has that 60s look and feel to it as you expect with anyone emulating a I-series system The cost for the full version seems a little steep. I would only use my iPad or iphone for emergency access only

This version is fully functional but if you can work your iSeries (AS/400, Power server with IBM i, whatever you want to call it) without Attn, page up and page down then this is all you need. Other folks will need the paid version (or, possibly, an external keyboard but the app is cheaper!) The quality and ease of use of this app have convinced me that Mochasoft know 5250 though so the paid app is a lot less of a gamble. Job done?

Trying to setup to test use on iPAD. If MochaSoft would connect thru VPN we could proceed with purchases of full version software for several iPads

Easy to set up and works great!

This app delivers as promised bringing the full functionality of the AS400 terminal application to iOS. I use it to access an ICOMS billing system running on an AS400 server and it works flawlessly. At the time of this review the paid version of this app is $29.99 which adds additional keyboard functionality. I would easily pay between $1 and $5 just to give the dev kudos (even if I didn't use the extra keyboard) but it would take a significant amount of additional useful features for me to spend $30 for an app, and even then it would be tough to justify as there are very few apps of this nature in that price point. 😉 Great app!!

Very helpful app for people who work on AS400. This app even has an option to scan the barcodes through the camera and take that as an input. Excellent!!

No page up, page down, or F keys.... This is worthless
