Very nice little program
I am using it for some time and liking it very much. I recommend it to everybody.

Asks for a review after adding each item, if I wanted to give a review right now I would have.
I like the concept behind this app. However, I have experimented on my iPad with using a text editor to make changes to the todo.txt file to see if the changes would show up in the app. They don't, and I have made sure that the version in the text editor was saved. If I exit the app, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, and swipe up on the app's image to fully exit it, then if I launch the app again, the changes I made in the text editor are visible. This is kind of a pain -- shouldn't there be a "Refresh" option in the app?
Works great! Dropbox sync is fast and flawless and only asks for access to my todo.txt folder. Filtering is useful. The only thing missing is the ability to sort.
I can’t get this app to work as advertised, and there’s almost no documentation, so I can’t be sure I’m doing things right. The biggest issue is that I have a todo.txt file in a folder on Dropbox. Although I can navigate to the file and select it, the app imports nothing. I routinely use this file with several other todo.txt apps, and it was created by them, so I have no reason to believe there’s anything wrong with the file. Maybe this basic feature requires the premium version. But where is that documented?
I’m fairly new to using the todo.txt format so I’m not sure how much is my approval of the format vs the app. The app is very usable and clean. There are only two major things that I see as improvement needs. One: the ability to sort in addition to filtering. Many of the desktop apps offer various sorts by context, by project, by priorities, etc. this would be even more useful on a small screen. (Though my 8+ is hardly tiny). Two: a single button to clear filters. I find it annoying and noticeable to have to toggle filters on and off. On is fine but Having to swipe through three sub menus to toggle filters off is a point of friction. A solid app otherwise!
I'm liking this app so far as an implementation of the todo.txt system. My workflow involves the use of multiple lists, however, and while this app allows you to create multiple lists/files, it doesn't allow you to delete them. That may be good for making sure you don't lose things, but it would be great to be able to delete for organization (or in case you create a list by the wrong name!). Feature request please!
Update: Thanks for fixing the little bug! Any way to sort tasks by priority? Great app but it's crashing when I check off/delete an item since OS11 update. Love the nice clean design & functionality too. Add sorting by priority & this app will be perfect!
Fix these issues, and I’ll give it a 5 Star ISSUE: App allows you to create multiple txt files but no way to delete them if you no longer need them. Need a way to delete todo.txt files from within the UI ISSUE: sliding items to the right ... deletes them, and that’s great, but I’ve already deleted 3 items by accident. Please create a “delete confirm” NOTE: have not experienced any crashes over 2 weeks of using this daily
One of the big perks of the todo.txt format is compatibility with any plain text app and many to-do apps designed to use todo.txt, but this app doesn't seem to understand that fully, as it only lets you access its own folder in Dropbox. This leaves you in the unfortunate position of having a super compatible to-do list that you can only access in a limited capacity. I use Singletask on my Android tablet which lets you sync your todo.txt file from anywhere on Dropbox (or only from a Simpletask app folder, for those who would rather limit permissions), and nvAlt on my Mac, which syncs.txt files with one folder (it can be anywhere, but it only uses one folder). In theory you could use Todotxt with an app like Simpletask that allows you to choose a location anywhere on your Dropbox by having good it point to the file in the Todotxt app folder, but to use it with something like nvAlt or any other notes app that syncs with a chosen folder, I'd have to keep all of my notes in the Todotxt folder, which obviously is not a desirable setup. Beyond that, the app is extremely minimal, doesn't even have changeable settings, but it seems like it would work fine if it weren’t for this significant limitation. As it is, this app doesn't work for me at all.
