The APP joke
I have tried countless times to use this app with various TC products to no avail. Stay away. It’s a great idea. It just doesn’t work. I’m a very tech savvy user and the effort required to make changes on the plethora X1 negates the value of the product.
Doesn’t work with Arena Reverb pedal
Title says it all. I have a TC Electronics Arena Reverb pedal and one of the main reasons I got it was because of the TonePrint feature. Not sure if it is obsolete or what but there is no option to connect to Arena Reverb pedals anywhere in the app

Can’t download new toneprints. Connection error You seem to be offline. Please go online and try again .
Doesn’t work
I have two pedals that are compatible with this app, the Hall of Fame 2 and the Flashback 2. I’ve had these pedals for years and loved them, but this app has not been functional since the day I bought them. Any time I have checked in on this app, it has crashed upon loading or selecting a pedal type. The pedals aren’t useless without the app, but it would be really nice to have this as an option to get more out of the pedals, especially since it is a selling point in the marketing materials.
TC ELECTRONICS has done it AGAIN!
You do have to hold your phone close up against the pickups, like flat against them. But it IS like magic. And it’s nice to have a switch that sets the guitar pedal to a setting which works for you and your guitar. Forget all the hate and download! you won’t regret it!
Toneprint Rarely Beams Correctly
This is the 5th time in a row I can’t get the toneprint to beam to the pedal no matter what I try. I can change them with the usb cable, but beaming toneprints with the phone rarely ever works. This is such an unreliable garbage way to try to change settings. Last toneprint pedal I’ll buy.
Worthless
Absolutely worthless. It will not connect Flashback Triple Delay by Bluetooth to iPhone 14 Pro. It will not connect with usb to PC with Windows 10. It will not connect or store anything midi to Tech 21 MIDI Moose. Also, the blue text on the Flashback Triple Delay is tiny and illegible in all but bright white lighting. Worst delay pedal ever combined with the worst App ever make it completely worthless.
Amazing Tech
I use this on my bass head . I also use a few pedals tone print features are amazing.
