It’s been a year. Is iCloud sync ever coming back?

At first the app seemed like it would be great. Good flexibility with categories and adding items. However you can’t seem to order your categories on your list and the app crashes often when reordering items on the list. Especially when you are trying to move something to the bottom of the list. I was also disappointed when I tried to turn on cloud sync just to find out it’s not working. I’ll give this all a little more time but will more than likely not depend on it for my travels.

12.26.2023 Update - downloaded again after seeing this pop up in free app of the day. The app was recently updated but iCloud sync and toggle switch is still nonfunctional. The iCloud sync switch is dead and will not toggle on… therefore no syncing between devices. The app also seems a bit clunky/buggy at times—likely because it hasn’t been updated in over three (3) YEARS. Was probably a good app when released but the common problem with indie devs is the failure to update and maintain apps over time. This neglect not only causes their apps to malfunction, but more importantly can affect the stability of iOS. I’ll check back because I would like to use the app (especially after paying for the IAP), but deleting until it is updated. Not worth installing as-is even with the now free upgrade.

I have used this app for two trips now. I don’t usually write reviews but this app deserves one! We travel often for various reasons and using this app I haven’t forgotten anything. I love the way I can add items as I think of something to take. On the day I pack the checklist helps make the last minute packing easy and stress free. Thank you!

I want to quickly be able to add and remove checklist items and use one checklist as a template to create another. This app makes you go through too many manual efforts to create categories and things. Sure, you can import pre-defined stuff. But then I have to manually delete the items that are not applicable. (and deleting is one at a time with a confirmation prompt). Would be better if I can easily just import a text list, but I can’t. For my needs, it is a hundred times easier to instead use IOS Notes with the checklist feature.

Seems from reviews that iCloud has been broken for a year or so. Need it working and syncing on all devices to be useful.

When opening the app, it shuts down. So frustrating!!!!!!

Crashes immediately on iOS 15.6. Can only get app to start by going into airplane mode and turning off that setting. Hoping for a fix soon. Would otherwise be 4 stars as it’s been a great tool the several times I’ve used it. Especially useful for repeat trips. Loses one star for only offering support via Twitter.
