Makes from your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and/or Macbook a complete GPS device with detailed topographic maps. Viewed maps will be stored on your device so that Topo GPS can also be used offline.
Why should you buy an expensive GPS device if you can install Topo GPS? Topo GPS contains all functions of a regular GPS device for less money, has a much more detailed map, and is more convenient to operate. The accuracy of the position determination is in favorable conditions about 5 m.
Ideal for walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, sailing, horse-riding, geocaching, scouting, trail running and other outdoor activities. Also suited for outdoor professionals.

WGS84 decimal, WGS84 degree minutes (seconds), UTM, MGRS, Ordnance Survey National Grid, NZTM, GDA94, and others.
If you are recording a route, the GPS will run in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

My map no longer looks like an OS map
Why has it changed? The new style is terrible.
Fantastic app
Came across this recently and have found it extremely versatile. The website user manual is very good too. I can’t believe the amount of functionality and the very reasonable cost of the mapping which can be downloaded too at no extra cost. I suppose a web based planning tool would be the icing on the cake.
Simple to use
Have had this for a few years and using it more. Fairly simple to use.

Simple and Useful OS Maps
I rarely review apps, this app is incredibly useful for hiking, trail running and paragliding. The interface is super simple and gets out of the way of seeing the maps and planning routes. I especially love that I can have the route show on my Apple Watch so that I can keep my phone in my pocket and feel confident I’m still on track at a glance. Being able to buy regions I visit regularly outright is great also. Not another subscription. Sometimes the routing takes a little longer route and I can find a better shortcut. Overall 10/10!

Viewranger replacment
As near as a replacement as I could find to the excellent Viewranger. Works very well and smoothly maps are well priced especially further away place maps. Just a shame they don’t reply to queries
Great
Easy to use, and focuses on key map functionality. This is the best os map app out there. Can’t wait to try the Mac app.
Better than Garmin
My friends and I have been using Garmin for about 5 years for Green laning etc.. and it’s not an easy system to use, put it this way I couldn’t load it with map as was a nightmare, This on the other hand I imported all the maps and have worked my way around what’s what and can even clearly see whereabouts I’m actually going when riding. So for £25 per year is actually pretty cheap when your looking at Garmin prices, and will always be up to date with maps etc.. Only thing that would have been nice would be a directional arrow with countdown to next turn!
