Touch and Learn - Emotions

Just bought the app from Apple Store for my 3 year old. All we see is black screen although we can hear sounds. Tried removing it and downloading again, the result was the same - no picture! Help!

At last a simple way of exploring emotions. Perfect for teaching children with autism about facial expressions.

This is a great learning tool. Love the simplicity and ease to adapt the pictures and emotions to the needs of individual children. Some pictures as it stands can be a little confusing but that doesn't matter as you can change them!

I use this with my 8 year old grandson who has recently been diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum.i would agree that some of the pictures are confusing and there is little variation of words though I do find that the jump in comprehension is perhaps confusing as in order to choose a picture denoting the asked for emotion the child does need to be able to understand the question. However this said he loves the program and that is the main thing.it is certainly worth a go.

My son has autism so I thought this would be good for him as we are learning about emotions. The picture are really good quality, but some can be a little confusing for example some are almost the same I even had trouble distinguishing between them. However he does enjoy it and does help learn the different emotions!

My daughter has a mild form of ASD and has difficulty with her social communication. One of the areas she has difficulty with is recognising emotions in other people. This app is a wonderful visual tool which helps her understand what others are feeling by prompting her to choose which of many different facial expressions is reflecting a particular emotion.

This is a great idea and brilliant that it is customisable but I am having problems with the screen freezing when I try to edit the sounds. Frustrating as it is potentially a really good app. Please fix!

Gender distinction and emotions can be complex issues for children with an ASD I work with. This app is a great tool for developing their skills.

I have customised this quite a bit, simplifying it for my daughter. I have only tried it once with her so far and she did just try selecting all of the pictures. I think I need to try it quite a few times before she will start to learn from it.
