I honestly can’t make rhyme or reason of his decisions or choices. One playing deck will seem to counter act a previous one. Plus some of his refs go against what some of the best poker players say, especially from late position. I don’t claim to know much about poker, but I can pick up on inconsistencies.
This has to be the quickest way to improve your game. I highly recommend it!
If you’re looking for a poker trainer - this is a good one. There’s nothing like just diving in and playing hands. It’s a bit pricy, but worth it. If you’re the app’s creator and you’re looking for some feedback — this app is so clunky and bloated. Every hand I have to touch the screen pre-hand, pre-flop, flop, turn, river, post-river. And not just once, but twice every street. And I have to sit through watching cards being dealt and players “thinking” before making their action. Can we just get to it? And get to it in a way that I can go quickly? Reading the excerpts is valuable — the first time. But can you please give the option of getting rid of them? I like to play this over and over and over again. And it’s quite annoying to do so when I have to touch the screen so much and wait for bots to make their action. Also, the concept of adding different packs is great, but they can be done better. I didn’t always know which pro was training me. And info from one pro definitely conflicted with info from another. There’s no one way to play poker, and I really like that a few of you teamed up to do this. But please make it clear who is teaching what. I’ve got JL talking about 3x the BB early, 2.2x mid, then 2x late. Then all of the sudden MB comes in randomly raising 7.5x the BB. Say what? Different styles is great exposure. Point it out. Capitalize on it. Please add new hand packs. This stuff with antes — when the BB ante has been standard for a while now — shows me how outdated the material is. And please use real hands from real tournaments. You’re in a unique situation to do this. The blending of tournaments wasn’t actually all that helpful. The one that focused on a final table of a single tournament was great — for example. More of that! Sometimes I didn’t know if you were joking about hands. AE showcased a hand where he had me bluffing three streets on a K-high, untextured board and QQ laid down river, after calling flop and turn. The river bet wasn’t an all-in or anything either. It was a standard bet on deep stacks. That really seemed like a don’t try this at home moment because I can say with certainty no one is ever folding to me in that spot! I’d love to know if it actually happens at your bigger games! Thanks for reading this long note. I really just want you to build a great product. There’s so much potential here. I’d pay for extra hand packs. You can get a ton of in-app purchases out of me if you’d just update thi
Why is there no option to turn off the feedback? I just wanted to play poker and this one looks good! But the coach is annoying because I’m not able to play actual poker.
Excellent practice tool Really gets you thinking Like the way it pushes the habit of categorizing players and engaging the game with strategy
I just wanted to learn how to play the basic game and they don’t even have a tutorial option. You just get thrown in a game with no explanation of the rules. I don’t care about the hand packs or tournament situations if I don’t even know how to play to begin with.
This is good app if you are looking to improve your poker game good stuff
To aggressive betting into a pair on the board can can can take you out of the game, three of a kind full house four of a kind you don’t get to a final table betting this way. Big continuous bets are fine but not with a small pair and a flush draw on the river
This app is filled with really high-quality poker tournament advice. I wish the expert advice sections did not require scrolling. The presentation of those could be much better. But this app is totally worth it and pays for it self
