Disappointed 😞
As a reader of tower of god I’m appalled at this game I was expecting a little more like Raid shadow legends but NO I get zero control over the combat and I can’t DO anything also the story is incorrect and the timeline is off

‘Kay so I played this after the netmarble one and I must say, this one is so much worse than the Netmarble version, for the loyal ToG fans like me who’ve read this, don’t waste your time on this, go play the Netmarble ones

It's stated i should get 100 destiny summon tickets, I didn't get any.

trash game that takes up a lot of time daily. at least the events give free stuff that allow you to save for T6 white and T6 Albeda

Whoever thought it was a good idea to put characters and weapons in the same stingy banner, slap them. Hard. What a terrible idea due to the fact the grind for currency is bad and the pull rates are absolutely atrocious. The core gameplay is fun but it’s bogged down by horrible, greedy decisions that make it hard to stay invested. Overall, just pass on this game.
Don’t bother playing
Didn’t expect much from an auto-battler, but was still disappointed. ToG is my favorite webtoon but not even that was enough to keep me playing. English is poor in various areas, the gacha rates are ABYSMAL (think genshin impact rates but at least genshin impact is a good game), the rewards and progression are downright terrible, the gameplay is mind-numbingly boring, and not even the teambuilding aspect can carry this sorry excuse for a game. I’ve never rated any game I’ve played this low. The only thing keeping me from rating it 1 star is the visuals and character art. Devs, you really messed this one up. I can’t believe this sad company got the rights to make a Tower of God game. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. If you value your time and enjoyment, STEER CLEAR OF THIS GAME. I can recommend you a plethora of better gacha games: pretty much any other game in existence. I hope this game dies soon so we can get a team that is actually dedicated to creating a polished and fun ToG game. I will never trust this company again. Not even to improve their own game, because nothing they could do could fix how terrible Tower of God: Great Journey is. I cannot stress enough how angry I am at NGELGAMES. I hope this review helped you make your decision.
Another pay to play game
You can get about a week of gameplay before you hit a hard wall and can either pay(and it’s very expensive) or wait a few days for the game’s AI gets you to a higher level for you to clear another stage before having to wait again. The daily reward is very cheap and there’s a success/fail mechanic for almost everything. I’m almost certain 50% of the downloads are from rerolls and are basically wasted data since the accounts are abandoned. Another thing I dislike about the game is they combined the character and weapon into the summon, which makes it difficult to farm units to transcend your current units. Overall, nice graphics but it’s a game designed for whales as they’re the only ones that can actually play the game.
