Tradovate: Trade & Invest

Very user friendly..easy learning curve ..tons of tutorials videos..lots of help on Reddit..highly recommend

Easy to use and reliable from session to session.

Two main issues with the mobile UI: 1. When I have the chart window open, then move to another window (say, account subscriptions), then move back to the chart window, the candlesticks stop updating (although I can still see where the bid/ask is live). 2. On the charting screen, notifications (order fills, order cancels, news, etc.) keep spamming and I can’t get rid of them. Tried turning off notifications but the white banners keep popping up.

Used to be great until this past week. Not sure why crude has been very choppy and less fluid trading. My win rate dropped drastically this week from over 90% consistently down to just 77% for the first time ever! If this continues in the future (no pun intended) Im not sure if the time and risk/reward ratio will be worth trading anymore… at least on this platform.

Whenever I lock the screen or minimize it signs me out.. just annoying. Otherwise it’s good.

I have no idea why but I’m not able to see my live account through the app. Whenever I open the app, then select live account, the app fails to load the charts for me to see my live account. They want me to purchase a subscription for the live data, delay the charts if I don’t have the data then not provide me the one essential thing I need to do to earn money. Truly, I am disappointed.

The layout and user interface is fine to me. First issue I have is that my chart settings and indicators will randomly reset and when I re apply them it won't save. Closing the app and switching to another instrument will reset it all over again. I also turn off notifications and they turn back on each time I close the app. The notifications block your chart. The most useless notification, the one letting you know the price is up or down, can't be disabled. Lastly I wish you were able to copy trade using mobile. I could use the desktop version but I like being able to watch charts on my computer and execute trades on my phone.

Please allow us to remain signed In for a specific period of time. Switching between charting software on mobile back and forth and having to wait for the refresh and security check during valuable seconds is very cumbersome. Please also allow us to change the color of the BUY and SELL buttons on the Trade window. Both of these buttons being blue isn’t great when there isn’t a confirmation window and especially when Tradovate defaults back to Buy after being out of there app a few minutes. This has resulted in me putting in the incorrect trade more than once. Thanks

You truly can’t beat 50 dollar mini NQ contracts, sure it takes abysmally long for your money to hit the account, sure i would never use the platform if it wasn’t available on TradingView, sure it’s stupid you need a subscription for CME contracts to be able to trade, even though I already have cme contracts subscription on TradingView, but you really can’t beat 50 bucks a contract.

When compared to other futures trading apps out there, this is garbage plain and simple. Navigating different charts, labeling, managing risk, etc….Is all a massive pain. Even the simple task of adding a limit order to a specific price is difficult for it. I’d stay far away from it, or simply trade on the desktop. But even Tradovates desktop app is pretty poor so I’d find a different broker altogether. Another annoying part of using this is the constant pop ups. Constant updates regarding a position or balance just appear on the screen, often times blocking important buttons. I have had many instance where I was trying to manage a position but couldn’t because I had to swipe these annoying things out of the way. Once they start they seemingly do not stop. It’s completely ridiculous that it happens and shows that the developers do not actually use this. Additionally, there are far to many instances where hitting an order or flatten button just doesn’t work.
