This has improved my work life so much. With back to back meetings there is no time to sit back and think through meeting notes. Nor is there sufficient time to take all the notes during the meeting, frankly. This app solves that problem. Its tremendous value is in being able to refer back to transcribed meeting notes.
Loving Transcribe. Now I can do diary entries and write book chapters on my mile-long walk to work. Accuracy is generally very good, near perfect after I got a Bluetooth 5.0 headset with mic that goes out to in front of my nose. Deafening garbage trucks rumbling by on Boston’s streets don’t even throw off the accuracy!
People really have to speak loud & clear or there’s no transcription

Needed a recorder to aid I note taking in class. I came across this and added it to my cell phone to use. Found it to work great. It picks up everything so if there is a great deal of rustling paper it will interfere with the recording but otherwise works wonders. I recommend sitting as close to the speaker as possible.

UPDATE Just used the latest version of Transcribe to transcribe a videoconference. Amazing. Not only did the transaction happen in real time but it caught 90+% of the text correctly. (90% is not an actual number just a reference to how accurate the transcription was) Areas to be improved Differentiate different speakers Improve accuracy Simplify post transcript editing process ORIGINAL This service is sloooooowww. Compare to descript. It’s also highly inaccurate if there is any other noise other than the intended speakers. Improve on the concept and my rating will change but for now the service is unreliable.
