I thoroughly enjoy using this app. It is very helpful and it works well. There are occasions that the translator is not able to find the correct word, but, for the most part, it is very effective. The creator has made continuous improvements and the app is now better than ever! I continue to recommend this app for all of your translation needs!!! ​ ‌‌​ 

I think this app does just fine, at least with my purpose of naps traveling questions. I am fluent in English and Spanish, iffy in German, so I tested these three languages out first. Well by golly it got them right! Sure you can't use it to make a presidential speech, nor would it be a good tool for a job interview, but if you're traveling the world and don't have the time nor patience to learn a new language, this app is for you! ‌ ‍   

When I travelled abroad, spending a whole 10 months in a foreign country where I could hardly speak the language, this app proved invaluable in my studies to acquire that language. This app made it possible for me to fully enjoy, and appreciate, my trip and the unforgettable people I met there. Because of this app's many handy features, in addition to its ease of use, I'm now virtually fluent in Spanish.  ‌  

A friend asked me for notes in English the other day - she wanted to translate something from Spanish to English for another friend. I saw that all I had to do was copy/paste the notes in question and got the English translation; maybe not exactly as it wd be translated if by a person knowing the context, but the meaning was understandable. I then recommended the app to both friends for future use. Thanks, guys!‌     ‍

I have studied: French, Latin, German, Hebrew, Yiddish, and Spanish. As a Jew, my study of Modern Hebrew is different from Classic Hebrew used in scripture and prayer. French and Spanish were lost on me. I love German! But still, when I write in German with a German keyboard, I often check my words on Translator :Camera Translation. When I write in Hebrew on a Hebrew keyboard, Translator :Camera Translation can check my spelling. On social media, I get comments in several languages. I can translate it with Translator :Camera Translation and reply in same. It is easier and quicker than all my multiple dictionaries!      ‍

I love Translator :Camera Translation and use it frequently! My sister-in-law is Italian and I am American. She speaks and writes in English without issue, but most of her family and friends back home don't speak or write in English or feel more comfortable in Italian. Translator :Camera Translation helps me understand Facebook comments about my sister-in-law or niece that I would otherwise be unable to read/translate (my Italian isn't that advanced). It also allows me to look at foreign websites and translate from the source language into English. My parents enjoy international travel and like to stay in small bed and breakfast type places instead of large multi-national hotel chains. Often these small B&B's website doesn't have an English version, so Translator :Camera Translation comes to the rescue! I usually kno

I wanted an Arabic translator to give me a specific country dialect. This app does that..I love that you can hear how a word u it S pronounced. I do wish the voice could be chosen male or female. UPDATE: received a nice message from developers explaining that I actually can choose the voice AND slow down/speed up speech! Elated that it has UAE specific translation! I’m learning the language but by bit with this app help! ‌   ‍

I like the interactive lessons. I also like the graded repetition. I have been doing daily lessons for 2 1/2 years and just recently upgraded to Duolingo Plus. It is nice not having to watch ads or worry about having to refill my hearts if I make too many mistake or typos. I do all of my lessons on my iPhone so typos and auto correct are a common source of errors. I don’t always catch errors if I am in a hurry. I have seen a lot of improvement in the program in the 2 1/2 years that I have been using it. I love the stories, but I have finished all of them. I’m looking forward to more. Keep up the good work Duolingo Team!  ‌‌
