I just came to Istanbul last night and withdraw money from ATM Surprised to see 10% Commission charge on transaction On the other hand money not came but deducted from Account Tried to email Travelex but they advised me to call Mastercard rather then help me. If I have calling mobile number why should I email them. Think twice before buying this.

I was uncertain to begin with around this card however it’s flippin brilliant. Additional bonus is that is zero commission.

Really easy to use and pay for items. Haven’t tried it on Apple Pay option yet though. As that’s a newer addition, but had the card for nearly 10 years now. Only down side the app can be a little slow in some countries to update, and you can think you have more money than you realise.

This card is the best! A travel must have, very easy to use both in shops and to withdraw cash.

I tried to cancel this card but when I phoned they said I had 93cents on it. The least I can transfer is £50! So I have done that and realise I am now trapped by Travelex.

Transactions between bank and Travelex top up ‘disappear’. The Travelex banking computer takes ‘local holidays’. App freezes and requires reinstalling on a regular basis. When the card/system is working it’s OK but when top ups go missing and you have to contact the ‘Help line’ you’ll get nowhere and just get excuses. Awful try a different supplier.

Very efficient

I thought this was a great idea to have and used it one trip successfully xmas 2019. Future travel plans were thwarted, and wanted to avoid the charge for transferring back, then bereavement followed after that, meaning I couldn’t travel again until now. Only to find that all the money I had put on the card for my cancelled 2020 trip has gone. Used up by the monthly £2 charge for inactivity. I will not be using this card again and would prefer to pay my bank. I’m really disappointed and shocked to say the least. Why is there a need to charge for not using the card? Which is only if you’ve transferred funds to it. I feel robbed. I took the card out at Heathrow airport and no charges like this were mentioned when the person went through the details with me.
