Out of date and overpriced
I bought this with the high hopes that it would be equal to Camino Pilgrim which is available only for Android devices. I was very disappointed.

You can’t change the route sections. If you can there are no clear directions. While walking it does not provide much in way of guidance. Most expensive app on El Camino provides zero utility.
Kept me from getting lost on more than one occasion. Also helped me locate lodging. Excellent maps!
I just finished walking the Camino de Frances on June 30, 2018 and was highly impressed with this app! The maps were so helpful when WiFi was not available as they work offline! Additionally, I found some great albergues and hostels to stay at! I recommended this app along the Camino to several pilgrims!
I've just finished (June 2017) using the app while walking from Leon to Santiago. Because the app is resident on your phone, you don't need an internet connection. Thus no "data" consumption, which is nice for thrifty North American pilgrims. It does a very good job of tracking your progress along the route, and advising of upcoming topography change and directions. Because the number of pilgrims is growing quickly and the communities along the route are responding to their needs, it is impossible for any app to keep up with the latest accommodations, restaurants, and bars. A major improvement in these aspects would be nice, but probably short lived. For this reason, no app could be rated 5 stars, imho. And yes, I strongly recommend it to any iPhone using pilgrim.
This is the first app review I've ever written - Trekright's Camino Frances guide is so incredible that I needed to let other people know! This guide is an absolute must have, with specifics on albergues, routes and distances, city facts and histories, and most importantly, GPS-linked maps! You can see exactly how far you need to go to your next destination, or make sure you're on track in the early morning before the sun comes up. Cannot recommend this app more - I tossed my travel book after two days in favor of it
On the Camino right now and using this app every day. I love that lets me know where I am, how far I have to go and that it doesn't require Internet or a data plan when I'm in the middle of nowhere. Easy to use.
This app has it ALL and will give you peace of mind for your Camino. Eugene (the developer) is very responsive and experienced with the routes. He keeps the app up to date through his own and others' experiences. He recently added a stand-alone Sarria to Santiago route which is just what I needed. The app is easy to use and does not depend on WIFI, which is pretty important! I mostly used it the night before my walks to see what was coming up. The maps and various listings are there for you whenever/wherever you are, but good pilgrim that he is, he suggests leaving your phone in your pocket and enjoying The Way. I highly recommend this app.
I used TrekRight to hike 300+ miles of the Camino Frances this April/May, and it was a great companion! The GPS feature allows you to see exactly where you are on a stage even when your cellular data is turned off. This feature was particularly helpful when a section of the Camino was flooded out, and I had to find a detour. It also found use when a “helpful” albergue owner decided to re-route the Camino by blacking out the official Camino arrows and adding his own. (Despite these comments, let me stress that the Camino is VERY well marked, and a GPS app is not strictly necessary.) The app was also much easier to access than my guide book, which I kept in my pack. If you are planning to stay only in albergues, this app could potentially replace a guide book; however, I found it helpful to have both.
Nice app. Missing a few of the newer albergues, but spot on for the French route. And a lot more portable than the Brierly book, though also a lot more susceptible to battery drain.
