It's not a bad app but it's not usable for me. For starters I want to be able to change archive to delete. Secondly there's no way to star or mark an email to remind me to go back and do something with the email. If all you want is to go through an email and only mark read, archive, or reply this will work fine for your workflow.
1. When I leave the mail in my inbox, keep it as unread. 2. Ability to share the email to a different app — I would like to triage a message into a todo in my task manager.
It works fine with gmail but stopped working with iCloud after a couple days. It is easy to quickly review email, but inboxes are not unified (when iCloud did work). I requested a refund for the upgrade since you can use the app free with just gmail. I see now this iCloud problem is long running. Apples should probably address that with the developer.
As many good things that people have to say about this app, I really wanted this to work. Upon opening the app, immediately says Couldn’t Connect to iCloud. No support option or troubleshooting section that I could find on the website.
I was hopeful this would knock out the other contenders, but: I have two Apple Accounts that I generated App Specific passwords for and saved in a PW Manager: One password isn’t accepted and the second one was but now the app crashes immediately upon launch. Yikes! Problem with Apple so far…and this isn’t my first “rodeo” using App Specific passwords…I uninstalled in the hopes it would erase my data and I would attempt my other non-apple accounts, but the App somehow remembered my AppleID pw and started crashing again.
Very good utility for taming an unruly inbox. However what it’s missing at the moment is a ‘flag’ or ‘star’ option in the sorting process, to mark email that’s been seen but you might want to come back to later.
As someone who has a crazy influx of email on a daily basis this has become a go to tool in my belt for dealing with email.
