Trippie: The Airport App

This app is terrible. Rotating device breaks it, allowing location crashes the app multiple times and puts you into an endless loop of opening the app and it crashing. It’s as if the developer has never heard of constraints.

When I select an airport the application crashes, so the main functionality is a bust. But I have to admit the GUI is nice. Great graphics!

I just watched shark tank and unfortunately, you had to do the sob story and embarrass yourself. After 3 years, the UX, graphics and colour scheme is really sub par. Your app versioning increments are wrong too. You don’t go up one for each point. Your app just links me to the airport websites...what incentive do I have using this app if I can just use Google? Why ask for money to hire a better developer? That implies you’re inexperienced. The developer you hire can take your idea if they think it’s viable. Better that you took the job at Google to gain experience and continue working on the app on the side. Don’t feel entitled because you spend all your free time coding. Elon Musk coded 16 hours a day, eating only 1 pack of ramen to make PayPal. Get over yourself. You’re not a bad developer you just need to be patient and accept failure. Try something else.

I saw this on shark tank and felt very sorry for you. You deserved to be more recognized by many entrepreneurs. I appreciate you’re grind and dedication to the app man, keep this you’re dream never give up. Proud of you man, and hope you can write back.

This is the most useless app ever. It only gives you a map of the airport, a chat (?), and food information. The map is poor, the chat is pointless (I wonder if anyone even uses it), and when you try to access the food information it only redirects you to the airport website which I could just type on google. Nothing new, nothing helpful and nothing I can’t directly find online. Really don’t get it.
