A regular mirror flips your image, so you're not really seeing what everyone else does.
With Truth Mirror, a true mirror, the image you see, is what the rest of the world sees when they look at you!
If you use the built in IOS camera app it shows a mirror image while previewing and then flips it to true when you take your pic, so you can't really see what your picture will look like.
Now with Truth Mirror! You can preview your TRUE image and pose for self portraits and take a picture of the actual preview.
Then you can add captions, goodies, and frames to your pic and share it via Facebook, Twitter, e-mail, etc….
After over a MILLION downloads we have done a full rebuild with some new features!
- Now you can choose to not save pictures you take to your camera roll so they are only in the app and then you can save and share the good ones :) Perfect for secret shots you don’t want showing up in your photo stream across all of your iOS devices, your choice.

- Turn the screen flash on and off.

Not usable due to long ads you are forced to watch
The first thing that comes up are several ads, and you cannot x out of them. The ads are way too long, and I am too busy to sit through them. Deleting app!
Gimmick
It just flips the photo image and puts a filter on it. came here from a tedxtalk about true self image and it was set up as a physical experiment. I don’t think you can recreate it digitally.
Please help me understand
Ok so I downloaded the app, but right when I got into it it turned white and I couldn’t do anything
Terrible
App it terrible you can’t even use the “mirror” like that, it’s just filled with adds.
Not bad, but I don’t recommend it.
Don’t get me wrong, there isn’t anything wrong with the app, but there are a lot of adds and it doesn’t show the “real” you. I look totally different in other true mirrors that this one. This is a mirror app though, so if your looking for a mirror, you can see yourself in the camera and take a photo if you want… at least the app does what it says it does.
Literally the worst clickbait
In the world of click bait ad forcing apps, this is the worst I’ve seen. Just horrible.
This is a great little app.
Not sure why all the negative reviews. My face is definitely not symmetrical, yet when I used this app it looked just like me. I noticed some minor distortions from what I see in the regular mirror , but nothing big. Works fine.
I couldn't even get to the app
Litterally rapid fire ads, I couldn't even get to the app w/ no clear way of getting out of it, steer clear
Once you open it all you have are advertisements
