Best app ever
It has a bit of everything, needs to reduce required number of clicks to access the content, though.
It is the best personal trainer for TRX
I have a phone and tablet in the same Apple account. Purchased this app so I could use it on the phone sometimes and on the tablet other times. Downloaded fine on the phone, however it wouldn’t recognize the purchase on the tablet. Both devices are signed in under the same name, but the app only works on the device it was purchased on, not the other one. TRX customer service is less than helpful saying it’s an Apple issue.
The app does not seem to fit the price point that this system goes for. The app is lazy. Improvements needed: 1.) The length settings needs to be associated to the exercise on the work out page. The fact that you have to stop, pickup your phone, click the exercise to get to the adjustment and position is ridiculous. Give us a letter or an abbreviation or even a color system to go off of for adjustments. They need to be quick and efficient and right now it’s clunky. 2.) This is targeted towards military personnel? So me being in the Army there have been plenty of times when I was not allowed to have my phone, yet they no longer offer a hard copy of the work outs? I would at least like to see a printable PDF by week offered in references on the app. 3.) I would like to see the auto progression have an animation for each of the movements. Again this goes back to my previous statement. You should just be able to set your phone up, press do workout and everything you need to see should be on one screen, no clicking or scrolling just a one pager where the info is presented. In closing this whole app needs an overhaul. Does it get the job done? Yes. Could it be more efficient in the way information is presented? Yes? Is the app lazy compared to other workout apps? Yes. Does it need a redesign for the price ? Absolutely!
Just got my new TRX product. Looks like it’ll be fun to use.
I would expect it to show a how to do the workout while you are doing it for a visual aid. This just shows a list of things to do with an interval timer. Now if I don’t know what an exercise is I have to get on my phone click a preview then start messing up all my times instead of quickly glancing and seeing what I’m supposed to do.
Used this app for years. Not sure what happened but the app crashes every time I try to open. Tried to update, delete/reinstall, and restart phone. Disappointed as I paid $60 for it. This is inexcusable. I was planning to order 50 for my troop for an upcoming deployment. We will spend our funds somewhere else. Bummer.
Second week with this app and I love the workouts. The only thing that prevents it from getting 5 stars is that it doesn’t have sound - I work out with head phones it and it would be great if there were audio cues (name of movement, count downs, rest, etc) as the work out advanced so I didn’t have to keep looking at my phone. Hopefully this can be added in an update!
I have been using this application for a good amount of time. It works great with providing an in app stop watch and precise directions, as well as strap level. My only complaint is that it needs to be updated to add more exercises. I have found a ton of exercises online or in other apps in AppStore. Please update app including some fresh new exercises. Also support iPads please.
