Have used the app for a year now. Not come over any problems so far. Must also add that I LOVE the app validation feature that makes it possible to use the app as a 2FA for new logins 🤗 The calendar could be improved for more relevant features and specific the notification for scheduled activities. Otherwise it is a great app 🤌
I love the fight you do for a more private internet, and I’d love to have you as my email provider, but the few times I’ve tested your service, I’ve always had weird issues. I’m a paying customer at a competitor, with several custom domains, but randomly being locked out of the account I’ve created 3 days in, after totaling ~10 emails, nothing spam makes me not trust you. Invalid credentials — I use a password manager — and same error when trying the recovery code. I’ll be back in a year I guess, when I have to renew my current subscription.
This is a product (and team) that punches way above its weight delivering a service that’s truly user-caring.
Tutanota is a great e-mail service, with simple and easy-to use interface and features. It is also effortlessly cross-platform, runs on green electricity and supports non-profits. Recommended!
Can´t think of any email solution with more userfriendly encryption. Anyone that can use email will master Tutanota. I regard Tutanota the most secure email sevice for personal users. Huge advantage that they provide clients for «all platforms» including Linux. My trust in Tutanota is on level with my trust of Signal.
The company is great, the app however is definitely not as good as Gmail and other mega corporate apps. But this is to be expected. I believe in a year or three that there won’t be a difference in UX
I am sad to say, I can no longer recommend tutanota as a service provider. The last few weeks there have been several outages. I have now been unable to access my accounts for over 12 hours. Email is a mission critical service for my business and outages of this magnitude has devastating consequences for me. I have been happy until now, sort it out Tutanota.
Så langt har jeg bare lovord å si om denne sikre, fremovertenkende, miljøvennlige, personvernsoptatte e-post-tjenesten. Har anbefalt alle i min familie- og vennekrets til å bytte slik at vi trygt og enkelt kan sende hverandre ende-til-ende-krypterte e-poster. Jeg heier på Tutanota!

I would like a way to filter my new incoming mail to a separate folder other than inbox so my reoccurring doesn’t pop up as priority
