Crashes when trying to mark entire season as watched. Was interesting to try for about 5 minutes, glad I did not bother to subscribe. Seems to have a lot of potential but a basic error like this makes it unusable for adding a show with more than a few seasons which have already been watched.
I’m always looking for new tracking apps and stumbled upon this one. I’m liking the design and how this work but there are a few items I hope can be updated in the future. First, I’m not sure why my Trakt watchlist wouldn’t show up in my released or to be released movies list. I have to move them out of my Trakt watchlist to show them on the movies tab. There doesn’t seem to be a way to hide watches items. I’ve seen a lot and having them all there is overwhelming. I may be missing it but I’d love a more robust discovery section. I only see a few rows of items unless I manually search for it. I’d also love a way to filter down more by streaming service without going into the show or movie to know where it’s streaming. I think this is a great start and I signed up for the lifetime pro so I’m excited to see what this app becomes. Keep up the great work!!!
Had some bugs with Simkl and missing shows in Hobi. Both haven’t updated in a year. So tried this app. The font is a bit big and that makes the information density a little less than I would like, but it is really nicely designed. Keep up the good work. One request: add a gray accent color for a nice monotone look.
I’ve found the app to be very help in keeping track of the shows we watch or want to watch. Now if they only add a place to keep track of the various TV streaming subscriptions!
I've been a user of "TV Forecast" for quite some time now, and I have to say, it's truly a game-changer for anyone passionate about their TV shows and movies. What sets "TV Forecast" apart is its brilliantly simple interface coupled with an exceptionally user-friendly experience, making it a standout in the crowded field of entertainment tracking apps. One of the features I appreciate the most is how it not only tracks my current watchlist but also provides in-depth analysis and information on shows, movies, and actors. This enriches my viewing experience with fascinating insights and details about the people behind my favorite characters. Moreover, "TV Forecast" excels in keeping me updated on upcoming movies and shows. Its ability to forecast and notify me about future releases ensures that I'm always in the loop and never miss a premiere. The integration with Trakt.tv is another significant advantage, offering seamless synchronization of my watchlist and viewing habits across devices. Among the myriad of TV and movie tracking apps I've tried, "TV Forecast" has remained my go-to choice. Its comprehensive features, coupled with a smooth and intuitive user experience, have made me a happy paying subscriber. Whether you're a casual viewer or a dedicated cinephile, "TV Forecast" is highly recommended for enhancing your viewing experience. It's the best tracking app I've used, keeping me well-informed and engaged with my viewing schedule like no other.
The only missing feature is a data export. I don’t use Trakt, and wish I could get a json or csv file with my watch history.
The last two times I opened this app, each time it added hundreds of false views to my Trakt history. There should be some sort of warning that appears to confirm major changes to Trakt history. I’ve spent hours deleting things from Trakt because this app doesn’t do syncing well. February 2024 Update: I opened the app again. It immediately marked 253 items as watched today to my Trakt account. BTW, it’s not possible to watch 154 hours of content in one day. And I’ve never marked *anything* as watched using the TV Forecast app, so it should have absolutely nothing to send to Trakt. Now I have to once again spend a bunch of my time deleting all these erroneous records from my Trakt account. Whatever this app is doing with the Trakt API is wrong.
I love this app however I wish there was a way to report show dates as incorrect. Seems to be a thing with Apple + tv shows. They always show like they are released the day before they drop on Apple TV. So would be good if there was a way to report it - overall though this app is accurate and is fabulous and have been recommending it.
Crashes every time I open the app.
