And, it has been found by a Los Angeles-based team of amateur and professional archaeologists. Out of this deep history of Ubar city, we created our brand in order to revive the old cities and roads.
Ubar app is an On Demand Taxi app, which allows you to request a private taxi ride, or share a taxi ride with other people. You can select from different levels of vehicle such as Eco, Saloon, Limo and MVP. Moreover, you have absolute freedom to choose between taking your own taxi and sharing one taxi with others.
Ubar is an authorized and monitored service by the government, and it considers as smartest and safest Taxi on Demand app in Oman because it provides:
1- Real Time Tracking Service, where you can share your trip details, driver information and pictures to your loved people via WhatsApp, SMS or any other applications, and they can track the taxi movements till you reach your destination.
2- Internal Calls and Chats, Ubar app allows you to communicate with the driver through an internal communication system. Meaning, you can make voice calls or send messages to the taxi driver without showing your number (If Enabled).
3- Select your payment method between Cash, Credit or wallet balance.
4- Add/Remove your credit/debit card at any time you want from the app and feel reassured.
5- Book taxi for someone else, while you are traveling or busy with your lovely friends you can book taxi for your family members, friends or even your staff from anywhere on this globe even they don't have Ubar app.
6- You loved our driver? Save him as a Favorite Driver and let Ubar app call him every time you request a Taxi.
7- Money Transfer, transfer money from your own built-in wallet to your family members, friends or anyone else who have Ubar app but doesn't have money.
8- Emergency Contacts, save your family or friends contacts in case of any emergency situation. By one click the app sends your trip information and your location to the saved contact numbers and requests them to help.
9- Request a Handicap Accessibility taxi or child seat. (Depends on availability)
10- Gender Bas Request, you can request a taxi based on gender. Women would love this option once it is enabled in Oman. (This service will be authorized soon in Oman).
