I installed the app hoping I could get a holiday for my dad and I before he goes to sea for 2 years and it made me pay so I did and then it all crashed not even happy the slightest
Not free
Very misleading, not free. If you want present year you have to pay for it. Past years are free! Naughty
Rubbish!
Adds multiple entries per holiday. I had up to 5 entries for the same day. Then I would have to manually delete them all. Went to the option to clear all entries within the app but some still remain without the option to delete them! Will never use again
Works well
Until iOS 7.1 this App has worked very well on pad and phone. Duplicate entries caused by using the cloud had been easy to remove, however under IOS 7.1 I cannot delete entries and old ones, formerly deleted, have reappeared. If this bug be sorted I wold give a 5* rating.
Simple & easy
This app is very simple and easy to install on the iPad, seamlessly integrated with iPad Calendar huge range of holidays and special days can be selected. It's the sort of info you would think that iCal would come preloaded with.
Does not work
Had problems getting this app to work. Following advice from app developer I reset "location and privacy" under settings-general-reset and it worked. All the dates for holidays were entered onto my calendar and I am very pleased. I had efficient and prompt support from the developer of the app for which I am most grateful.
More or less perfect
It takes just a few minutes to customise what public holidays and notable dates you want to add to your default calendar up to 2016. Unlike the old iCal calendars you can edit the dates if you make a mistake (although it would be hard to get it wrong) By the time I had clicked save on my iPad my iPhone calendar had been updated. You can also add other calendars if you need them. About the only criticism is that it only goes up to 2016 but if that means it's costing me 23p per year I can live with that! JUST BUY IT.
Great App!
Just downloaded with no problems at all, does exactly what I want. All holidays now in calendar, including Easter - the one some have had trouble with. I think this is probably due to devices not having been updated. Highly recommend. PS. I'm not a tech-head, just a 65yr old Granny!
Hmmm not good
Only seems to work properly when regional setting is United States. Crashes when set to UK...so what's the point in being Uk Holidays?!!! Please sort it out developer.
