wish it wasn’t a pay to play app if you want to actually get good, some company needs to make a complete free app to help people that want to learn but other than that it’s great if you pay

Potential!

The depiction of how to play a 16th note strum is definitely helpful, even if I still haven’t quite grasped the nuances. I would like to see them put that amount of effort into all of their songs, even the more simple songs. Just because the song is simple doesn’t mean it’s just a down strum (esp if you listen to the guitar). Do a legit strum according to every song (yes I know the uke is a factor). Basically this app is the best so far I’ve seen for Uke strumming. It has a LONG way to go but I really pray it keeps going. I really like it.

Kala Makes Learning Easy

I am currently on my 7 day free trial and was super happy with the results I was getting after just the first day. I definitely recommend this app for anyone trying to learn the uke.

Chord tracking?

I paid $8 to try the full app and chord tracking isn’t working. It’s saying I got 0/12 right, but I’m pretty sure it’s not accurate, and it’s not really giving me any actual feedback. Kind of useless.

Pretty great app!

I feel like the lessons should give you a little bit more time for you to really follow along. I was struggling a little bit because it was going too fast. Other than that suggestion, This app is great and mostly free.

I was struggling trying to teach myself on YouTube and I really wanted to play that one song from up I was playing it very lousy before I downloaded this app now it sound wayyy better. Also I thought the other reviews were false but not at all.

Can't hear chords right

The lessons are great. The tuner is great. But the chord practice is off. It's constantly telling me I did it right even when I didn't. If it could actually detect *which* chord you're playing, it would be awesome.
