At UNC Health, we are always looking for ways to improve the experience of our patients and visitors. We want to be there to help you at every step of your health care journey, including finding your way through our facilities. That is why we created the UNC Health app. This wayfinding app will make it easier for those visiting UNC Medical Center and UNC REX Healthcare by providing turn-by-turn navigation from your front door to our front desk, parking support and real time indoor guidance. The app also brings together resources to help you access care easily, whether that’s seeing the urgent care location nearest you with the shortest wait times, or helping you find a provider anywhere in our system.
Special features include:
• GPS enabled turn-by-turn navigation to UNC Health Care locations
• Find a convenient parking spot and set a parking reminder at UNC Medical Center and UNC REX Healthcare
• Real-time indoor step-by-step directions to get you to where you need to go at UNC Medical Center and UNC REX Healthcare
• Sign up or connect with My UNC Chart to make an appointment and for appointment reminders
• Get in line for an on demand Virtual Care Now video visit with a UNC Health primary care provider 6 a.m. – 10 p.m 7 days per week, 365 days per year, without leaving your home or office. NOTE: This will not be your own primary care or specialist provider.

• Pay your bill online
• Subscribe to UNC Health Talk to get free health tips and patient stories once a month

Auto immune folk like me need this!
It is life saving
Out of date system
Need to updated and shouldn’t have to put my username and password over and over again just to get sent to a two way authentication every time. That’s not even the biggest problem the app has issues I’ll sign all the way in then it’ll just freeze so then I got to close app and do all over again & I do that a about 4 or 5 times before I finally get into the app. Just terrible experience and service and needs to do better
Why have an app that’s just a browser
Kind of pointless of an app. They are to push everyone to the app but to do anything in the app. Every thing you do in it is just a web browser and keeps asking me to log in. Why even bother when its just a wrapper for the website.
Useless app
I try to pay my bill online after receiving a bill in the mail and it tell me I have no bills. This app is very useless to me why even have it. The app is so complicated you can’t find nothing that you’re looking for.

The app does not connect you to your health info. You still have to go online to see your appointments and lab results. The app provides directions to the clinic and saves your parking spot. There are plenty of other apps that do that better.
GPS
I absolutely love the gps! I would get so lost in the hospital, then I downloaded the app. NO MORE GETTING LOST!
