Still great
Been playing this since it came out. One of the original and best word games. Highly addictive.

Been playing this since it came out. One of the original and best word games. Highly addictive.
Simple, slick and addictive. Thank you.
My partner and got Up Spell so we could play each other but Duel mode needs some serious improvement. I don't want to be sent a link in a messaging app, requiring multiple clicks before we can play each game. If we're in the same space and/or on the same network, can't we connect via AirDrop or use Bluetooth? Also would like to see my partner's score on my side. Nice game but requires further development.
A very simple but addictive game. The only problem is that you’re occasionally presented with a selection of letters that contains no vowels. This may work for Welsh language speakers but for the rest of us the game is over. Update: Not actually a problem. I had not noticed how to reset the letters.
A very well-done game, simple, fun and addictive. I’d love to see some more interaction in the duel feature - displaying the real-time scores of your opponents would add to the excitement.
Perfect for a quick escape during the day. Simple, clean design and delightful music. Continues to be one of my favorite games that I come back to.
IT’S A BEAUTIFUL GAME! SIMPLISTIC, FUN Sadly no options to: • Increase character amount • Increase Time • Missing some words. Example: “Grok” is a word (game does not recognize it) (These are not my reasons for 3 star ⭐️) DEVELOPMENT OVERSIGHT: (My reason for 3 star instead of 5) Unfortunately, I have no idea why the developer… ignored logic in their mind and DID NOT consider: 500 million iPads apple mentioned, sold world wide… your game WILL be played on an iPad. Therefore, why not make sure the game shows up correctly on iPad screen? I have a 12’9 inch iPad Pro, in landscape mode, launching this game, you press the 2x button for the game to blow up and cover the entire screen (fair enough)… here’s where the developer did not do, their due diligence: The game appears at the bottom left edge of the screen, dangerously close, to bleeding out the edge of the screen. (making it uncomfortable to play) I do some some development myself, there is a iOS screen simulator which you can run in xcode, showing approximation of how game will appear on the various iOS screens. Developer was obviously focused on iphone only. Sadly, singular thinking like this, diminishes the perception of the passion, involved in this project. Especially, in this current age, when the development tools are available for the dev, to assist them, and make sure, game is running at it’s best viewing angles, for all iOS device screens.
I like this game *a lot*. Scratches the Wordle itch between new words. One complaint: sometimes I get no vowels. Is this a feature or a bug? I get that this can happen in Scrabble, for instance, but then you have a whole board to play on. The session I just finished I went with “DR” which counted as a word, then I got a vowel. If this is intended I gotta say it feels a little broken. But the game is great. Everyone who likes Wordle should check it out.
Playing a word game with two hands is less appealing. It needs portrait mode. Otherwise it’s pretty fun.
The app automatically compressed after upgrading apple system and wont fix…
