The sync is great and this plus spark receipt is easily comparable to evernote at a fraction of the cost

I have been using this app for a few weeks now and am very impressed. This is not one of the best known notes apps, but it is one of the best - and I have tried a lot. It is cross-platform, fast, and syncs well. The user interface is well thought-through and there is a minimal learning curve. There are enough formatting options, and plenty of flexibility for organising notes. Notes can be placed in more than one notebook, and tags can be used as well. Bi-directional links can be added between notes. There is a degree of security but the developers advise against using the app for private information like passwords. The one improvement I would welcome is greater security.

I’ve tried many apps and UpNote is the only one I’ve stuck with the longest. It keeps me productive and has just the right set of features to make it work for me.

I’ve tried most notes apps out there, UpNote is by far the best with all the features you need and none of the bloated rubbish that you don’t. Syncs flawlessly between Windows and Mac apps, has affordable monthly pricing and regular updates, and has a super nice UI. I love it.

If you are on Linux and aren’t a programmer I can state categorically that this is the number one cross-platform notes app. It does it all and syncs immediately with a tablet. Honestly I tried so many apps on Linux that left me less than impressed. Save yourself my heartache, buy UpNote!

This is the second time I’ve left a review for this wonderful app. I’m doing so because I find it phenomenal and its versatility and ability and it keeps getting better.

I’ve been using UpNote for a month now and bought lifetime. I do like it, it’s quick and responsive, syncing is reliable. I was coming from IA writer, and in comparison I find it cluttered and missing some obvious features. Most annoying for me is that note width is fixed, with no option to make the column narrower for readability. Fine on iPhone, not on tablets where it’s too wide. The big blue ‘new note’ button is so distracting, there should be a toggle to switch it off. And the app icon looks like a GPS hiking trail app, it’s hardly the end of the world but it doesn’t look professional. In general I’d love to see an update focused on attention to detail and more customisability, over big things like workspaces.

I’m happy Upnote is getting more recognition across different social media networks. It is a great app, which is supported on multiple platforms. The synchronisation is amazing, sketch on iPad is a bonus and backlinking works a charm. I enjoy using the typewriter with focus mode. All we need now is an Apple Watch app. Thank for being the best!

For years, I used Evernote as my main notetaking app along with Apple Notes, but I now use UpNote. It provides a tremendous amount of functionality and versatility specifically, it offers more functionality with tables that Apple Notes does not. For example, you can add images directly into tables, use Rich formatting, and resize columns. The only reasons why I don’t give it 5 stars are because: 1) you cannot drag and drop rows or columns like you can in Evernote 2) there is currently no optical character recognition, which both Evernote and Apple notes offer. 3) scanning can only be one one page at a time, whereas in Apple note, and never note, you can have multi page scans. However, if and when they include these three key pieces of functionality, there will be no reason for me to ever use another Notes app!

Pretty damn perfect app.. just missing a capture widget and the ability to sync a calendar so I can make notes on the day
